JACKSON, NJ — Jackson Township is inviting eligible residents to apply for a vacant seat on the Township Council, according to an official notice issued ahead of the June 2 application opening.

Community members interested in public service and local governance may submit letters of interest beginning Monday at 8:00 a.m. The submission window will remain open through Wednesday, June 4, at 4:30 p.m. The vacancy was not attributed to any specific resignation or departure in the announcement.

Qualified applicants should email their letters to Township Clerk Martin at smartin@jacksontwpnj.net and Deputy Clerk Gencarelli at bgencarelli@jacksontwpnj.net. Candidates may be contacted after the deadline to schedule interviews with council members as part of the review process.
