Do You Know Him? Ocean City Police Seeking to Identify Vicim Hit by Car While Exiting Bus

OCEAN CITY, Md. — Ocean City Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a pedestrian involved in a hit-and-run collision early Monday morning near Arctic Avenue.

The incident occurred around 12:24 a.m. when a person exited a city bus and ran into traffic on Coastal Highway. According to police, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle but quickly left the scene.

The driver involved in the collision remained on-site and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

Investigators released a photo of the individual and are working to determine their identity. No details were provided about the pedestrian’s injuries or current condition.

Police urge witnesses to come forward

The circumstances surrounding why the pedestrian ran into the roadway remain unclear. Investigators have not said whether impairment, speed, or other factors played a role in the incident.

As of Tuesday, no charges had been filed and the case remains under active investigation.
