WALLKILL, N.Y. — A 24-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday night at the Metro North Train Station in Wallkill after officers found her in possession of heroin, fentanyl, and Alprazolam, according to a media release from the Wallkill Police Department.

Officer Michael Medina responded to a welfare check at approximately 8:41 p.m. on June 3 and found the woman, later identified as Loerli Davila of Middletown, sitting on the curb of the station platform and appearing to be under the influence of narcotics.

Police said a search of Davila led to the discovery of 760 glassine envelopes containing a white powdery substance that tested positive for heroin and fentanyl. Officers also recovered six pills of Alprazolam.

Davila was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, False Personation, Criminal Impersonation in the Second Degree, and Possession of Controlled Substances by Ultimate Users in an Original Container. She was also cited for appearing in public under the influence of narcotics.

Davila was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Wallkill Town Court on June 18 at 9:00 a.m. She is also being held on a separate bench warrant issued by New York State Police for another controlled substance charge.
