WASHINGTON, D.C. — A 25-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning inside a residence in Northwest D.C., police confirmed.
Around 12:30 a.m. on June 8, officers from the Fourth District responded to a report of a stabbing in the 4100 block of 7th Street NW. Upon arrival, they found an adult male suffering from stab wounds. Despite emergency medical efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The decedent has been identified as 27-year-old Jonathan Fuentes-Ferrufino of Northwest, D.C. Police recovered a knife at the scene and arrested 25-year-old Leslie Flores, also of Northwest.
Flores has been charged with Second Degree Murder while Armed. Investigators have determined the case is domestic in nature.

Police have not disclosed further details regarding the relationship between the suspect and victim or what led to the fatal altercation. The investigation remains ongoing.
This marks one of the latest deadly domestic incidents in the District so far this month.
