TRENTON, N.J. — A series of protests against President Trump are scheduled to take place across New Jersey this weekend, with demonstrations planned in dozens of towns and cities, including numerous locations along the Jersey Shore.
The protests are being organized by far-left groups who have called for peaceful demonstrations. However, tensions remain high as some protests in other parts of the country have led to violent confrontations between demonstrators, counter-protesters, and law enforcement.
At this time, neither Governor Phil Murphy or the New Jersey State Police have made any comments regarding the planned statewide protests
