BALTIMORE, Md. — A 42-year-old man was shot early Sunday morning in Baltimore’s Eastern District, police said, following a ShotSpotter alert that led officers to multiple locations.
At approximately 12:10 a.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of Sherwood Avenue after receiving a ShotSpotter notification. Upon arrival, they found evidence of a shooting but no victim at the scene.
Shortly after, officers were dispatched to the 2300 block of Harford Road, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His injury is believed to be non-life-threatening.
The connection between the two locations is under investigation, and no suspect information has been released.
