A man from Oregon, Ohio, scored a $50,000 prize playing the Ohio Lottery’s $500,000 Bankroll scratch-off game.
The winner, identified as Jacob, chose to take the lump sum, which after federal and state taxes of 28 percent will leave him with $36,000.
The winning ticket was purchased at S&G #92 located at 7410 Jerusalem Road in Oregon. The $500,000 Bankroll scratch-off costs $10 and still has four top prizes remaining as of August 1.
The Ohio Lottery says it has contributed more than $33 billion to education since 1974.
