Rehoboth Beach man arrested after drug and firearm raid uncovers stash inside home

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — A 47-year-old Rehoboth Beach man is facing multiple felony drug and firearm charges after Delaware State Police executed a search warrant at his residence, authorities announced Thursday.

Steve Pagan was taken into custody July 31 following a coordinated raid by the Sussex County Drug Unit, the Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team, and the Rehoboth Beach Police Department. The search took place at a home on Baltimore Avenue and followed an investigation into suspected drug distribution activity.

Pagan was detained inside the residence, where two children were also present at the time of the search.

During the operation, law enforcement recovered approximately 22.21 grams of cocaine, 28 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, multiple anabolic steroids, two loaded handguns with ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and $3,104 in suspected drug proceeds. Investigators also found 56 dosage units of Dihydrotestosterone, and smaller amounts of Testosterone, Trenbolone, and Nandrolone.

Pagan is legally prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition. He was transported to Troop 4, arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $85,100 cash bond.
