Pedestrian killed in Baltimore hit-and-run crash

Baltimore, MD – A man has died after being struck by a vehicle that fled the scene early Thursday morning in Baltimore’s Central District.

The incident occurred on August 14 at approximately 12:15 a.m. at the intersection of North President Street and East Baltimore Street. Responding officers found an unidentified adult male with severe, life-threatening injuries. Medics transported him to a local hospital, where he later died.

Preliminary findings indicate the victim was attempting to cross the intersection when he was hit by a vehicle that did not stop.
