Schenectady, NY – Police are investigating a violent home invasion that occurred early Thursday morning in which two suspects assaulted a man, tied him up, and stole his vehicle.
The incident happened on August 14 at approximately 6:39 a.m. at a residence near 1764 State Street. According to police, two males entered the home, struck the male victim in the head, and bound his hands before fleeing in his vehicle.
The victim was treated on scene by the Schenectady Fire Department and later transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers searched the area and found the stolen vehicle a short time later parked in Crosstown Plaza.
