Glen Burnie, MD – A 34-year-old man was arrested Thursday evening after allegedly robbing a woman at a drive-up ATM on Ritchie Highway in a strong-arm robbery that occurred around 8:00 p.m.

According to investigators, the 28-year-old victim was retrieving cash when the suspect, identified as Erick Brett Metzger of Glen Burnie, pulled his vehicle in front of hers, blocking her in. He then approached her car, held her door shut, and after a brief argument, reached into the vehicle and grabbed her cash before fleeing.

The victim provided details of the suspect’s vehicle, which led officers to identify and locate Metzger at his residence. He was taken into custody and charged in connection with the robbery.
