COLUMBUS, OH – On Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 9:42 pm, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 1800 block of E. Rich St. on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found 25-year-old Dontae Crowder suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to Grant Hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced deceased at 10:07pm. The circumstances surrounding Crowder’s death are under investigation.
