36-Year-Old Man Found Shot Dead in Car in Salisbury

SALISBURY, MD – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a homicide that occurred on Thursday. The incident took place around 12:30 PM in the 900 Block of Mineola Avenue, Salisbury, within Wicomico County. The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Brookes Lamar Dashiell.

Deputies responded to a shooting report and found Dashiell seated in the driver’s side of his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Tidal Health Emergency Room, where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.

The Criminal Investigation Division has taken over the investigation.
