WASHINGTON, DC—The D.C. Metro Police Department’s First District Detectives Unit has arrested a 16-year-old male from Southeast regarding a retail theft at a CVS. The incident occurred last Tuesday at around 8:45 PM in the 1100 block of New Jersey Avenue, Southeast, where a group of suspects allegedly stole items, and one threw a bottle at a security guard, which missed.
Following an investigation, the teen was arrested on Friday and faces charges including Burglary Two, Theft, and Assault on a Police Officer. Detectives are still seeking other suspects involved in the incident.
