Investigations by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Lakewood Township Police Department, and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit concluded that the infant, Chaitovsky’s daughter, was left unattended in his vehicle for an extended period. This act was determined to be the cause of the infant’s death.

Chaitovsky was arrested and is currently held at the Ocean County Jail. The investigation remains active, with potential additional charges pending.

He is no longer listed in the inmate roster at the jail, according to the Ocean County Jail Inmate Search.

McCann is being held on an $81,000 bond and also faces charges of disorderly conduct. His next court appearance is scheduled before Judge Marcus Floyd on Tuesday. As of Monday, it was unclear if McCann had retained an attorney.

Central Precinct officers have arrested a Canadian protestor carrying a Nazi flag for felony aggravated assault after using the flagpole to strike a downtown bartender.

Ryan Scott McCann, 29, of Ontario, Canada, is also charged with disorderly conduct. He is being held on an $81,000 bond, pending a source hearing before a Davidson County judge.

McCann was part of a Neo-Nazi group carrying Nazi flags and spreading white supremacist rhetoric on Broadway at 3rd Avenue, drawing displeasure from passersby. The group later moved south on 3rd Avenue, where Deago Buck, 19, a local bar employee, engaged in a physical altercation with the protestors. Suspect Charged in Fatal Stabbing in Mount Rainier

MOUNT RAINIER, MD — A man has been charged in the fatal stabbing of 51-year-old Julio Lopez Cosme of Arlington, VA, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday in Mount Rainier. The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Davon Henderson from Mount Rainier, is facing first-degree murder among other related charges.

Henderson was also found on the scene and was immediately taken into custody.

The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit, which took over the investigation, discovered that the stabbing occurred during an argument between the victim and the suspect, who were known to each other. Henderson is currently held without bond by the Department of Corrections.

DUNDALK, MD — A tragic collision involving a motorcycle and a Jeep has led to the death of 35-year-old motorcyclist Joshua Bernert. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 14, at approximately 10:15 a.m. at the intersection of Dundalk Avenue and Center Place.

Preliminary findings from the investigation indicate that a 2010 Jeep Liberty struck Bernert’s 2024 Suzuki motorcycle as it turned southbound onto Dundalk Avenue. Bernert was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Egg Harbor Township Police Department is intensifying efforts to locate 47-year-old Ramon Marrero, a missing man under special care due to a past brain injury. Marrero, described as a white male about 5’10” tall, was last confirmed to be in Philadelphia on July 11th, when he attempted to purchase a restaurant around 5 p.m.

Earlier that day, Marrero had boarded a bus to Philadelphia from a terminal in Atlantic City, with surveillance footage capturing his departure. He is originally from Worcester, Massachusetts, and was visiting the area with his mother, his primary caregiver. At the time of his disappearance, he wore a red tank top and dark-colored shorts and was noted to have less hair than previously pictured.

Arkansas Man Arrested for Assaulting Pregnant Girlfriend During Argument

BAXTER COUNTY, AR — A dispute over fuel usage escalated into a violent confrontation in Baxter County, resulting in the arrest of 28-year-old Justin James Coddington. He faces charges of third-degree domestic battering after allegedly kicking his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach.

The incident occurred on the evening of May 27, 2024, when deputies responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 40 block of Sunchase Court. The victim reported that the altercation began over a disagreement regarding fuel, which intensified after Coddington used profane language towards their children. According to the victim’s account, Coddington pushed her and then delivered a kick to her stomach.

Emergency services transported the victim to a hospital where medical staff confirmed the kick had caused visible bruising but did not seriously harm the fetus, thanks to its early stage of development.

Coddington, who was released on a $5,000 bond, has entered a not guilty plea. His trial is scheduled for December 2024. Meanwhile, a request by the victim to modify a no-contact order to allow Coddington visitation with their children was denied, though phone contact between the victim and Coddington was permitted by the court.

DELAWARE — Delaware State Police Troop 4 has issued a Gold Alert for 29-year-old Terontae Fisher, last seen in the vicinity of the 35000 block of Zion Church Road in Frankford at approximately 4:53 p.m. on July 15, 2024. Fisher’s current whereabouts are unknown, and police have been unable to make contact with him, raising concerns for his safety and well-being.

Fisher is described as a Black male, 5’10” tall, weighing around 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black hoodie and gym shorts of an unknown color. It is not known whether he is on foot or traveling by vehicle.
