EDGEWATER, FL – A Volusia County deputy has rescued a 13-year-old girl in serious trouble after meeting a 22-year-old child sex offender online in the hotel room where he brought her.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s office said their deputy was looking for a 13-year-old Oak Hill girl who went missing after school went searching from motel to motel until he found her in a dark motel room with a 22-year-old Orlando man she met online.

“When Deputy Royce James entered the doorway of the room at the All Suite Motel at 335 N. Ridgewood Ave. in Edgewater, the girl ran into his arms and gave him a hug,” the VCSO said. “The suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Thompson (DOB 2/25/1998), was taken into custody on a charge of interference with child custody, with the Edgewater Police Department adding a charge of traveling to meet after using a computer to lure a child. Additional charges are pending.”

Deputies responded to the missing child report around 6:15 p.m. Thursday, after the girl’s grandmother said she never came home, and never went to her basketball game after school, either. Deputy James started investigating, and spoke to a friend of the missing girl, who said the victim was planning on going to a motel with someone she met online. The friend said she thought the man’s name started with a T, possibly Tyler, and that he was from Orlando. She said he may have picked up the victim at the Dollar General store in Oak Hill.

Deputy James went to the Dollar General to look for security video, and found surveillance images of the victim at the store. An employee reported the girl said she was waiting for someone to pick her up.
Next, Deputy James started visiting area motels, showing the front desk clerks a photo of the missing girl and searching the day’s check-ins for a match.

At the third motel he checked, Deputy James noticed a guest checked in under the name Tyler Thompson, with an address out of Orlando. Deputies went to his room and knocked on the door several times before Thompson finally answered, and the victim came running.
When she was told she’d be taken somewhere to be medically cleared and interviewed, the girl asked Deputy James to stay with her. He took her to a local Department of Children and Families facility for evaluation, and then took her home.

The motel is located in the city limits of Edgewater, and the Edgewater Police Department is working with the State Attorney’s Office on potential additional charges in this case. Thompson was released from the Volusia County Branch Jail on Friday night after posting $15,000 bail on his current charges.

NEW YORK, NY- Americans have watched the slow decline of Saturday Night Live from a cheeky and funny show with the likes of Eddie Murphy, Chris Farley, Will Ferrel, Adam Sandler, Dan Akryod and other comedians through the years who were generally hilarious into a politically motivated dark comedy that quite frankly stopped being funny over a decade ago.

This weekend, without President Donald Trump to keep the show afloat with its remaining hardcore progressive audience, SNL pulled out the anti-Semitism humor, claiming that the nation of Israel has only vaccinated Jews and not any other religions.  In a time in America where anti-Semitism is on the rise, SNL understandably is catching heat for it.

SNL actor Michael Che said, “Israel is reporting that they vaccinated half of their population…and I’m going to guess it’s the Jewish half.”

Last night, SNL falsely accused Israel of vaccinating only its Jewish citizens. @NBCSNL‘s “joke” is a modern twist on a classic antisemitic trope that has inspired the mass murder of Jews,” said the American Jewish Committee.

Is Che’s off-color joke based on truth?  All Muslims and Palestinians living in Israel are eligible and are receiving COVID-19 vaccines, but since the areas of the West Bank and Gaza Strip are under the control of the Palestinian Authority and Hamas, Israel faces several difficulties in sending vaccines to non-Israeli citizens living in those regions.  The Gaza Strip is currently under the control of Hamas.

According to the BBC however, “[Israel] has also started to transfer some doses to Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza, so that vaccinations can begin for frontline health workers. In occupied East Jerusalem, all Palestinians are entitled to be vaccinated against Covid by Israel, as are medics working at the six Palestinian hospitals there – many of whom come from other parts of the West Bank and Gaza.”

Israeli citizens who have settled in the West Bank and Gaza Strip are also eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccinations from Israel, regardless of their religion.

Getting COVID-19 vaccines into the Gaza Strip, which is under Hamas control has also been a logistical problem for all involved, the BBC reported.  According to the Christian Science Monitor, many Israeli Arabs are also refusing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine citing mistrust of the vaccine itself.

CINCINNATI, OH — U.S. Border Patrol agents in Cincinnati confiscated 44 pounds of cocaine-coated Frosted Flakes cereal in a shipment coming into the U.S. from South America last Friday.

On February 13, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers in Cincinnati intercepted smuggled narcotics in a shipment of cereal originating from South America. The shipment contained about 44 pounds of cocaine-coated corn flakes, which could have a street value of up to $2,822,400.

CBP Narcotic Detector Dog “Bico” was working incoming freight from Peru when he alerted to a large shipment of cereal headed to a private residence in Hong Kong. When officers opened the box to take a closer look, they saw that the cereal contained white powder, and the flakes were coated with a grayish substance. Officers tested the flakes and powder and found they contained cocaine, a schedule II substance under the Controlled Substances Act.

Cincinnati Port Director Richard Gillespie emphasized that smugglers will hide narcotics in anything imaginable. “The men and women at the Port of Cincinnati are committed to stopping the flow of dangerous drugs, and they continue to use their training, intuition, and strategic skills to prevent these kinds of illegitimate shipments from reaching the public.”

Cocaine abuse can lead to many adverse health consequences including cardiac arrhythmias, heart conditions, cardiac arrest, convulsions, stroke, and death.

CBP conducts operations at ports of entry throughout the United States, and regularly screens arriving international passengers and cargo for narcotics, weapons, and other restricted or prohibited products. CBP strives to serve as the premier law enforcement agency enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity through collaboration, innovation, and integration. On a typical day in Fiscal Year 2020, CBP seized 3,677 pounds of drugs at ports of entry across the nation.

Tiffany Poindexter is a 44-year-old mother of three who has been showing it all on OnlyFans.com, an adult website that allows anyone to be the next big adult entertainment star.  She and her husband Chris earn as much as $140,000 per week.  She is the model, he is the photographer, but recently the Poindexter’s neighbors and other moms at school found out what was happening behind their closed doors.

Now, Poindexter said she and her family are being harassed in the community.

The mother of three said images of her from her OnlyFans account were sent to her children’s school principal and parents are calling for her children to be kicked out of school.

The local outrage hasn’t stopped her from performing and earning more money each week than some of her neighbors earn in a year.

She goes by the name of “Mrs. Poindexter” and is one of the top-grossing models on the platform. Last July, another parent, found out about her dark secret and she said things have been tough for the family since.  She has nearly 150,000 followers on Twitter too.

Poindexter was eventually removed as the class mom of her son’s second-grade classroom.

She describes herself as an average 44-year-old soccer mom and suspects that is the reason her profile has such large appeal with middle-aged men.

“I reckon most of the husbands have taken a look at Tiffany’s account. If I had heard about a school mom doing OnlyFans, I definitely would have! Maybe that’s why these women have such an issue with us,” husband Chris says, saying the moms at the school are just jealous that their husbands are checking out his wife online.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Joe Biden has ordered a complete halt to the deportation of illegal criminal aliens hiding within the United States.  Those criminal aliens include murderers, sex offenders, child sex offenders, rapists, and human traffickers.  Today, the Biden administration made an exception to the rule by allowing the deportation of 95-year-old former Nazi concentration camp guard Friedrich Karl Berger.

While Berger should be deported, the exception has raised more than a few eyebrows as it comes days after the Biden administration shut down Operation Talon, a nationwide program that helped law enforcement remove more recent criminal illegal aliens who actually still pose a clear and present danger to Americans in every city and small town across the country.

On Friday, the exception was made and Berger was deported.  He should have been.  The illegal aliens who commit murder, rape and child sex offenses should also be removed, but since taking office, not a single one has been.  The deportations stopped immediately.  ICE even stopped reporting arrests of illegal criminal activity by illegal aliens.

Berger, a German citizen, participated in Nazi-sponsored persecution while serving in 1945 as an armed guard of concentration camp prisoners in the Neuengamme Concentration Camp system (Neuengamme). He was ordered removed from the United States in February 2020.

Berger was investigated and prosecuted by the Department of Justice’s Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section, ICE’s Office of Principal Legal Advisor (Memphis, Tennessee), Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center (HRVWCC) and Homeland Security Investigations’ field office in Knoxville, Tennessee.

“We are committed to ensuring the United States will not serve as a safe haven for human rights violators and war criminals,” said acting ICE Director Tae Johnson, “We will never cease to pursue those who persecute others. This case exemplifies the steadfast dedication of both ICE and the Department of Justice to pursue justice and to hunt relentlessly for those who participated in one of history’s greatest atrocities, no matter how long it takes.”

“Berger’s removal demonstrates the Department of Justice’s and its law enforcement partners’ commitment to ensuring that the United States is not a safe haven for those who have participated in Nazi crimes against humanity and other human rights abuses,” said Acting Attorney General Monty Wilkinson. “The Department marshaled evidence that our Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section found in archives here and in Europe, including records of the historic trial at Nuremberg of the most notorious former leaders of the defeated Nazi regime. In this year in which we mark the 75th anniversary of the Nuremberg convictions, this case shows that the passage even of many decades will not deter the Department from pursuing justice on behalf of the victims of Nazi crimes.”

In November 2020, the Board of Immigration Appeals upheld a Memphis, Tennessee, Immigration Judge’s Feb. 28, 2020, decision that Berger was removable under the 1978 Holtzman Amendment to the Immigration and Nationality Act because his “willing service as an armed guard of prisoners at a concentration camp where persecution took place” constituted assistance in Nazi-sponsored persecution. The court found that Berger served at a Neuengamme sub-camp near Meppen, Germany, and that the prisoners there included “Jews, Poles, Russians, Danes, Dutch, Latvians, French, Italians, and political opponents” of the Nazis. The largest groups of prisoners were Russian, Dutch and Polish civilians.

After a two-day trial in February 2020, the presiding judge issued an opinion finding that Meppen prisoners were held during the winter of 1945 in “atrocious” conditions and were exploited for outdoor forced labor, working “to the point of exhaustion and death.” The court further found, and Berger admitted, that he guarded prisoners to prevent them from escaping during their dawn-to-dusk workday, on their way to worksites and on their way back to the SS-run subcamp in the evening.

At the end of March 1945, as allied British and Canadian forces advanced, the Nazis abandoned Meppen. The court found that Berger helped guard the prisoners during their forcible evacuation to the Neuengamme main camp – a nearly two-week trip under inhumane conditions, which claimed the lives of some 70 prisoners. The decision also cited Berger’s admission that he never requested a transfer from concentration camp guard service and that he continues to receive a pension from Germany based on his employment in Germany, “including his wartime service.”

In 1946, British occupation authorities in Germany charged SS Obersturmführer Hans Griem, who had headed the Meppen sub-camps, and other Meppen personnel with war crimes for “ill-treatment and murder of Allied nationals.” Although Griem escaped before trial, the British court tried and convicted the remaining defendants of war crimes in 1947.

The trial and appeal of the removal case were handled by attorneys from DOJ’s Human Rights and Special Prosecutions Section (HRSP) and from ICE New Orleans, Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (Memphis). DOJ’s Office of Immigration Litigation (OIL) participated in the litigation of Berger’s appeal.

The investigation was initiated by the HRSP and was conducted in partnership with the Nashville ICE HSI office.

Acting Attorney General Monty Wilkinson expressed gratitude for assistance provided by the FBI, our German colleagues, and by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Since the 1979 inception of the Justice Department’s program to detect, investigate, and remove Nazi persecutors, it has won cases against 109 individuals. Over the past 30 years, the Justice Department has won more cases against persons who participated in Nazi persecution than have the law enforcement authorities of all the other countries in the world combined. HRSP’s case against Berger was part of its ongoing efforts to identify, investigate and prosecute individuals who engaged in genocide, torture, war crimes, recruitment or use of child soldiers, female genital mutilation, and other serious human rights violations. HRSP attorneys prosecuted the first torture case brought in the United States and have successfully prosecuted criminal cases against perpetrators of human rights violations committed in Guatemala, Ethiopia, Liberia, Cuba, and the former Yugoslavia, among others.

This removal was supported by ICE’s Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center (HRVWCC). The HRVWCC is comprised of ICE HSI’s Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Unit, ICE’s Human Rights Law Division, FBI’s International Human Rights Unit, and DOJ’s HRSP and OIL. Established in 2009, the HRVWCC furthers the government’s efforts to identify, locate and prosecute human rights abusers in the United States, including those who are known or suspected to have participated in persecution, war crimes, genocide, torture, extrajudicial killings, female genital mutilation and the use or recruitment of child soldiers. The HRVWCC leverages the expertise of a select group of agents, lawyers, intelligence and research specialists, historians and analysts who direct the government’s broader enforcement efforts against these offenders.

Since 2003, ICE has arrested more than 460 individuals for human rights-related violations of the law under various criminal and/or immigration statutes. During that same period, ICE obtained deportation orders against and physically removed 1064 known or suspected human rights violators from the United States. Additionally, ICE has facilitated the departure of an additional 172 such individuals from the United States.

Currently, HSI has more than 155 active investigations into suspected human rights violators and is pursuing more than 1,675 leads and removals cases involving suspected human rights violators from 95 different countries. Since 2003, the HRVWCC has issued more than 77,000 lookouts for individuals from more than 110 countries and stopped over 333 human rights violators and war crimes suspects from entering the U.S.

Members of the public who have information about foreign nationals suspected of engaging in human rights abuses or war crimes are urged to call the ICE tip line at: 1-866-DHS-2423 (1-866-347-2423). Callers may remain anonymous. To learn more about the assistance available to victims in these cases, the public should contact ICE’s confidential victim-witness toll-free number at 1-866-872-4973.

CHARLESTON, SC – Since taking office, U.S. President Joe Biden has suspended all deportation of criminal illegal aliens, but a broad stroke of the President’s pen this month also wiped out a nationwide operation that allowed for the arrest and deportation of illegal aliens who preyed upon children.

On Thursday, South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson joined a Missouri-led coalition of 18 state attorneys general in urging President Biden, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement Acting Director Johnson, to reverse the Biden Administration’s last-minute cancellation of Operation Talon. Operation Talon is a nationwide ICE operation that focuses on removing illegally present convicted sex offenders from the United States.

“We’re working hard to fight human trafficking and sex crimes in South Carolina and allowing convicted sex offenders who are here illegally to remain in our country makes absolutely no sense,” said Attorney General Wilson. “These trafficking and sex crimes are repugnant to human decency generally and to children specifically.”

“Today, I’m pleased to lead this coalition of 18 states in urging President Biden to reverse the decision to cancel Operation Talon, which targeted convicted sex offenders who are illegally in the United States. Broadcasting that sexual predators and traffickers are potentially immune from deportation or other legal action only worsens the crises of sexual assault and trafficking at the border and potentially in Missouri,” said Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt. “In combating human trafficking in Missouri, we strive to send the message that our state is inhospitable to trafficking through our actions and initiatives – The United States needs to send the same message.”

The letter argues that canceling Operation Talon could embolden sexual predators who seek to enter the United States illegally and exacerbate issues of sexual assault and trafficking in the immigrant community.

The letter states, “According to data collected by Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, during the period from October 2014 to May 2018, ICE arrested 19,752 illegal aliens with criminal convictions for whom the most serious prior conviction was a conviction for a sex-related offense.”

Protesting the cancellation of Operation Talon, the letter says, “The cancellation of this program effectively broadcasts to the world that the United States is now a sanctuary jurisdiction for sexual predators.  This message creates a perverse incentive for foreign sexual predators to seek to enter the United States illegally and assault more victims, both in the process of unlawful migration and after they arrive.  It will also broadcast the message to other criminal aliens who have committed less heinous offenses that any kind of robust enforcement against them is extremely unlikely.”

The letter closes with, “We urge you to immediately reinstate Operation Talon, adopt an aggressive enforcement policy against illegal aliens convicted of sex crimes, and send a message to sexual predators that they are not welcome in the United States of America.”

In addition to South Carolina, state attorneys general from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia also signed on to the letter.

BROCKTON, MA – Shortly before 5:30 p.m. on February 17th, two Troopers assigned to the Troop D Community Action Team were on patrol in Brockton. While traveling on Westgate Drive they observed a white Nissan SUV with the operator holding and looking down at a cell phone. They took a position behind the vehicle then activated the cruiser’s blue lights and stopped it as it entered Route 24 northbound.

After the vehicle came to a stop the Troopers approached it and identified the operator as ANTENOR RUDDY, 34, of Randolph. They requested RUDDY’s license and registration then returned to their cruiser to conduct an electronic inquiry of his information. The results of the inquiry revealed RUDDY’s driver’s license was suspended. As he was the only occupant in the vehicle the Troopers requested a tow to remove it from the scene. RUDDY was removed and placed in handcuffs while the Troopers conducted an inventory of the vehicle’s contents prior to its removal.

During the inventory the Troopers, one of whom is trained in vehicle hides by the DEA and the other has attended Proactive Criminal Enforcement Training, noticed loose and ajar molding surrounding the center cup holder/shifter area. A closer inspection of this area revealed a hidden loaded Ruger .380 pistol along with multiple plastic bags containing a large amount of a white substance suspected to be cocaine. After a subsequent search of the vehicle Troopers located additional drug paraphernalia. The total amount of narcotics seized was 19 grams of a substance suspected to be crack cocaine and 38 grams of a substance suspected to be powder cocaine.

RUDDY was placed in the rear of a cruiser and transported to State Police-Middleboro for booking. He was scheduled for arraignment at Brockton District Court on the following charges:

1. Trafficking in Cocaine;
2. Possession of a Firearm with 3 Prior Violent/Drug Crimes;
3. Carrying a Loaded Firearm;
4. Possession of a Firearm/Ammunition without FID Card, Subsequent Offense;
5. Possession of a Firearm while in Commission of a Felony, Subsequent Offense;
6. Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License; and
7. Holding Electronic Device while Driving.
