New Jersey Governor Offers Condolences Amid Controversial Actions Against Trump Properties

TRENTON, NJ – Sorry. Not Sorry. That’s the messaging coming from Trenton today as Governor Phil Murphy responds to the failed assassination attempt against former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Governor Phil Murphy has expressed his condolences following an assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump, while simultaneously facing criticism for his administration’s actions against Trump-owned properties in New Jersey. The state’s decision to strip liquor licenses from two Trump golf courses is being seen by some as politically motivated.

The action has been described by many pundits as part of the overall Democrat party plot to punish and continue their act of ‘lawfare’ against the former President.

The New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control did not renew the liquor licenses for Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck and Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. A state spokesperson confirmed that while the licenses expired recently, the clubs could continue alcohol service under interim permits until a formal hearing is scheduled, with the interim approval set to expire on July 19th.

Conversely, Trump National Golf Club Philadelphia in Pine Hill successfully renewed its license earlier this June. The inconsistency in license renewals has sparked accusations of targeted legal action, which Trump has labeled as “lawfare” against him by local and state governments.

Governor Murphy, amidst these tensions, took to Twitter urging prayers for “President Trump, everyone at the rally, and our country,” highlighting a complex juxtaposition of political conflict and calls for national unity.

Jackpaul Singh, the owner of the ARCO station, expressed his astonishment at the back-to-back wins. “It’s either good karma or luck, but either way, we’re thrilled to see our customers win big,” Singh said. The $1 million prize was clinched by a Lotto Million 1 ticket matching the numbers 1, 8, 12, 16, 28, and 49 in the July 6 drawing.

Singh, who grew up in the neighborhood and purchased the gas station a few years ago, is eager to meet the newest millionaire among his customers. “I’m curious to know who it is. I hope they come in to celebrate with us,” he added.

This year, the Illinois Lottery has already created nine millionaires among its Lotto players, with over 37,000 winning tickets sold for the July 6 drawing alone. Singh’s store continues to be a beacon for hopefuls in a community he describes as diverse, family-oriented, and supportive.
