TRENTON, NJ – Governor Phil Murphy has given his blessing for student-athletes and children across New Jersey to resume indoor sports training.  The arbitrary decision, not really based on any actual science was made last week after a similar non-scientific decision was made last month to shut down sports.  On many occasions, Murphy conceded that indoor sports were not a source of COVID-19 outbreaks.  Murphy did single out hockey as a sport that has been prone to COVID-19 outbreaks and subsequently shut down interstate hockey competition and later, all interstate sports competitions.

“I know that a lot of people have been waiting for this one, we have an update on our indoor sports. We are allowing the indoor sports pause, which we implemented on December 5th, to expire this Saturday, January 2nd, and for indoor sports to resume that day. So given the safety protocols that we have in place and the stability in our numbers over the past months, although stability at an uncomfortably high level, I have to say, we feel confident we can move forward by continuing to deal with any outbreaks or other issues on an individual case basis, as opposed to a blanket prohibition,” Murphy said. “Further, we recognize that any continuance of the pause would likely mean that many sports seasons would have to be scrapped entirely and we do not wish to see that happen. We know that sports are important for both the physical and mental wellness of our youth and our other residents. We will continue to closely watch the outbreak data and reserve the right to pull this back if we must.”

Governor Phil Murphy and Superintendent of the State Police Colonel Patrick Callahan today announced Administrative Order 2020-25, which clarifies that indoor sports practices and competitions are subject to current indoor gathering limits, which was most recently set at 10 persons. However, practice or competition can proceed with more than 10 persons if individuals who are not necessary for the activity, such as spectators, are not present. The total number of individuals still may not exceed 25 percent of the capacity of the room in which the practice or competitions takes place, and such limitations may not exceed 150 persons.

The order further clarifies that the restrictions on interstate youth sports competitions in Executive Order No. 194 (2020) also apply to youth sports competitions conducted outdoors.

RICHLAND, SC – South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced today the South Carolina State Grand Jury has issued a 24-count indictment regarding allegations of public corruption by Richland County Councilwoman Dalhi Myers.

The Attorney General thanked the State Grand Jury Division staff and the agencies that worked on the case.  “This Office is committed to rooting out corruption in state and local government wherever it may be, and the State Grand Jury is a particularly effective tool in pursuing those who would violate the public trust,” he added.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – It’s now clear liberal Democrats on Capitol Hill did not pledge to stop their insanity as one of their 2020 New Year’s resolutions.  That became evident after Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, who appeared to be wearing a metal cheese grater over his face ended the opening prayer to start the new Congressional session with “Amen and Awoman”.   The ending of a prayer with “Amen” has nothing to do with ridiculous liberal gender identification politics, but translates to “So be it”.  “Awoman” literally translates to nothing at all, but a show of liberal Democrat party ignorance and idiocracy.  Besides the fact that Cleaver left out 32 other liberal-supported genders, assuming God is either a man or woman is a cardinal sin of liberal politics.   And so it goes, in Washington, D.C., 2021 starts exactly where 2020 left off.  Cleaver’s opening prayer in Congress was nothing short of a hatchet job on religion.

As a son of a Cuban immigrant, Ted Cruz said “Screw the Chinese Communists”.

“Apparently, Eric Swalwell said, ‘ok’,” Cruz added.  “For a long time we know the Democrats were in bed with the Chinese…we just didn’t know how literally.”

Swalwell was caught up in a spy romance with a Chinese spy, which could be entitled, “The Spy Who Shagged” me if made into a Hollywood movie.  See more of that below.

Greg McGuckin,John Catalano

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Call it a fastball down the middle, but New Jersey State Senator James Holzapfel and Assemblymen John Catalano and Gregory P. McGuckin swung at the pitch.  After feeling the heat from constituents this year over their bill to fine New Jersey residents an astronomical and absurd $15,000 for violating “Murphy’s Law”, they tried to recover by hopping on the Trenton bandwagon criticizing the Governor and Judith Persichilli for their blunder that cost New Jersey seniors an additional week for getting the COVID-19 vaccine.   They were among the last of their peers to the press release party on the subject, but nevertheless, piled on.

Now, voters in June will have to ask if an obvious press release criticizing the governor will make up for their lock stepping with Murphy at the start of the pandemic.

Sen. Jim Holzapfel, Asm. Greg McGuckin and Asm. John Catalano blasted the Murphy Administration for failure to meet a filing deadline that will delay COVID-19 vaccinations in nursing homes for at least another week.

“How many more vulnerable seniors will be infected by this deadly virus because of this inexcusable delay? It is unthinkable that after the virus killed more than 7,100 senior citizens when it swept through nursing homes earlier this year, the department responsible for those facilities would not get this right,” the 10th District Legislators said in a statement.

“Once again, the Murphy Administration has failed our long-term care facilities, our most vulnerable medically fragile residents, and the families that love them.”

The plan to start giving injections today required the state to register long-term care facilities by the federal deadline of Dec. 7. The department was at least one day late.

“Knowing full well that the largest percentage of COVID deaths have occurred in nursing homes, this should have been Job One for the health department staff,” the lawmakers said. “Saving lives and preventing a repeat of the tragic outbreaks in confined facilities must be a priority, but the commissioner excused the failure on ‘the volume of information that had to be inputted.’

“That is malfeasance, plain and simple, and it puts lives at risk. Breakdowns like this are unacceptable. We are not talking about painting a fence, where you can come back the next week and finish it up.

“Within the Department of Health, there appears to be no sense of urgency and no appreciation for the value of life.”

Earlier this year, the trio marched in unison with the Governor and sought to empower the governor with fines of up to $15,000 for residents who violated Murphy’s draconic pandemic orders against public gatherings and violating those orders.   A close advisor with the trio contends their bill was targeted only towards Lakewood’s Orthodox Jewish community, but all three men have declined to questions about that bill by Shore News Network.

Locking elbows with Governor Murphy may cost these three men their jobs as Republicans in Ocean County are planning on removing them through a primary election battle in June.   Ocean County voters will likely make them pay for their action against the people during the pandemic.   McGuckin also holds approximately twenty-one public jobs at the Jersey Shore, earning an estimated $4,000,000 annually.  McGuckin until recently had a $125,000 IRS lien placed on his home in Toms River after not paying his taxes.

McGuckin was charged earlier this year by Toms River Councilman Daniel Rodrick for allegedly creating himself a job in Toms River.  That job is estimated to pay about $400,000 annually according to township records from prior to 2020.  Eventually, Ocean County Judge Marlene Lynch Ford dropped those charges and McGuckin got to keep the job he wrote for himself and facilitated through hardnosed political jockeying of the Ocean County insider politics game.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL –  A car thief who stole a Ford Escape, his first mistake, led police on a while chase and thought he was being slick after he ditched the car and hid in a recycling bin.  That was his second mistake. The only problem with his plan was that a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office chopper was tracking his every move from high in the sky.

“Aviation caught this arrest on camera, and you will never guess where the bad guy was hiding…a RECYCLING bin,” the department said. “On Saturday HCSO spotted a stolen black Ford Escape driving on 78th Street. The driver took off and tried to get away from our deputies. Aviation had eyes on him the whole time.  Keep watching because at 1:45 into the video you can see him jump in the recycling bin. This suspect was arrested without incident.”

PORTLAND, OR – A person arrested today for attempted murder of a police officer has escaped custody from the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) Detective Division, and PPB is asking for public assistance locating him.

On Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 1:30p.m., East Precinct officers located and arrested a suspect in the attempted murder of Portland Police Officer Jennifer Pierce on December 24, 2020 near Southeast 39th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard. David Dahlen, 24, of Portland, was captured after a short foot pursuit in the area of Southeast 101st Avenue and Southeast Insley Street.

Because the incident was an officer involved shooting, PPB Homicide Detectives were investigating. Dahlen was transported to the Detective Division in the Justice Center at 1111 Southwest 2nd Avenue for an interview.

At 5:30p.m., detectives discovered that Dahlen had escaped the secure holding cell he was in. The building was immediately locked down and additional resources were called in. It was later confirmed that Dahlen had gotten out of the building and was last seen running north.

An effort to recapture Dahlen is underway. There is no reason to believe that he presents a direct threat to the community. However, PPB is asking for the public’s help to locate him.

David Michael Dahlen III (photo) is a white male, 24 years old, 5’8″ tall, 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes. He had a noticeable amount of dried mud on his clothing. He has warrants for his arrest for Attempted Murder in the First Degree, Assault in the First Degree, Assaulting a Public Safety Officer, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Escape in the Second Degree.

If anyone sees Dahlen or knows where he is, they’re asked to not approach him and call 911 right away.

An investigation will attempt to determine how Dahlen escaped from a secure cell.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards of up to $2,500 cash for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.
