HAMPTON COUNTY, VA – Since 1992, the people of Hampton County and Newport News have elected and re-elected B.J. Roberts to serve as sheriff.  After nearly 30 years of service to the community, Roberts announced earlier this year he would be retiring from the job.  On Christmas Day, he passed away.

“It is with deep sadness that the Hampton Sheriff’s Office releases that our beloved leader, Sheriff B.J. Roberts, transitioned peacefully at his home the morning of December 26 after celebrating Christmas Day with his family,” the Hampton County Sheriff’s Department said. “Under Roberts’ leadership, the Hampton Sheriff’s Office demonstrated a Commitment to Excellence. In 2009 the office was awarded the coveted Nationally Accredited Triple Crown award, achieving simultaneous accreditation from the American Correctional Association, the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, and the National Commission on Correctional Health Care.”

In June of 2010, Sheriff Roberts was sworn in as the 69th president of the National Sheriff’s Association (NSA). Roberts’ swearing-in as president of NSA marked the first and only African-American in the 70-year history of the organization to preside over its 18,990 members.
Sheriff Roberts announced earlier this month his plans to retire from the position on January 8, 2021. Roberts served as Sheriff of Hampton for 28 years and was Virginia’s longest-serving Sheriff. B.J. Roberts had nearly 50 years of combined dedicated law enforcement service on the Peninsula.

Roberts was first elected as Sheriff of Hampton in 1992 and was re-elected to serve six terms.

WORCESTER, MA – Four kids in Worcester were arrested by police after kicking off winter break by throwing bricks at cars, seriously injuring one man.  The teens, including one girl just 15-years-old threw bricks at about 19 different cars and they are now facing individual charges for each of their crimes.

On December 26th, 2020 at about 3:50 PM, Worcester Police officers were dispatched to Plantation St for a report of an assault with a brick. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the thirty-seven-year-old male victim, who was severely injured when he was driving eastbound on Plantation St. As he passed a red SUV, someone threw a brick at his vehicle. It went through the windshield, struck the victim in the face, and caused very serious , permanent injuries. The victim was transported to the hospital, and officers received information that the suspect vehicle was a stolen red SUV.

As officers gathered information and looked for the SUV, many other calls for service came in reporting inhabitants of a red SUV throwing bricks at passing vehicles. An officer spotted the red SUV near Harrington Way, and began to follow it. The suspect vehicle sped up and the officer pursued the vehicle to the area of Ashwood St, where the vehicle stopped. Two male occupants of the vehicle fled on foot, and two female occupants of the vehicle stayed in the car.

Officers pursued the two males and took them into custody in the area of Houghton St. One of the male suspects is fifteen-years-old and the other is sixteen-years-old. One of the female suspects is fifteen-years-old and the other is sixteen-years-old. A total of nineteen vehicles were struck by bricks and damaged. All four juveniles are charged with Aggravated Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (Brick), Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Brick) x 5, Mayhem, Conspiracy, Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle x 19, Throwing Missiles at a Train or Bus, and Resisting Arrest. In addition, the sixteen-year-old male is charged with Unlawful Carrying of a Dangerous Weapon (Brass Knuckles) and Carrying a Dangerous Weapon When Arrested. They will be arraigned in court.

A viral video this week shows a man, who could have possibly been under the influence, or just a complete jackass, slinging the “n-word” to a customer behind him online at a convenience store.  The man showed great restraint for quite some time while the guy in front of him went on a bizarre tirade, but in the end, justice was served swiftly.

“F— my momma, [n-word] and F— you mamma, [n-word],” the man said.  Apparently not impressed with his use of the word [n-word], the man finally had enough and popped open a can of energy drink on his forehead.  After getting his ass thoroughly beat, he realized the error of his ways.  It’s unknown when or where the video was recorded.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald J. Trump today claimed elections in Afghanistan were run better than the November 2020 United States general election.  Due to COVID-19, many states opted to make the election a mail-in-ballot election causing some confusion amongst voters and leading to claims of election fraud and voter suppression by the President.

Trump claims a young military man working in the Asian nation briefed him on the election process in a country that has been ravaged by war since the 1970s.

“A young military man working in Afghanistan told me that elections in Afghanistan are far more secure and much better run than the USA’s 2020 Election,” Trump said today. “Ours, with its millions and millions of corrupt Mail-In Ballots, was the election of a third world country.”

Trump went on to call President-Elect Joe Biden, a fake president.

“Fake President!” Trump exclaimed.

According to Facebook researchers, former Vice-President Joe Biden won the 2020 election.

“Election officials follow strict rules and have found no evidence of widespread fraud,” Facebook, now an authoritative source on media fact-checking responded to the President’s claim.

Trump took a shot at the conservative-leaning Supreme Court.

“The U.S. Supreme Court has been totally incompetent and weak on the massive Election Fraud that took place in the 2020 Presidential Election. We have absolute PROOF, but they don’t want to see it – No “standing”, they say. If we have corrupt elections, we have no country,” he added also incriminating the U.S. Justice Department. “The “Justice” Department and the FBI have done nothing about the 2020 Presidential Election Voter Fraud, the biggest SCAM in our nation’s history, despite overwhelming evidence. They should be ashamed. History will remember. Never give up. See everyone in D.C. on January 6th.”

Once again, Facebook responded to Trump’s post.

“Election officials follow strict rules and have found no evidence of widespread fraud,” Facebook said.’

“If a Democrat Presidential Candidate had an Election Rigged & Stolen, with proof of such acts at a level never seen before, the Democrat Senators would consider it an act of war, and fight to the death. Mitch & the Republicans do NOTHING, just want to let it pass. NO FIGHT,” he added.

On December 23rd, the head of an election monitoring group in Afghanistan was gunned down in the nation’s capital.  Yousuf Rasheed, executive director of the Free and Fair Elections Forum of Afghanistan Organization (FEFA) was shot dead by gunmen in an ambush.  Afghanistan held a presidential election 2019.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald J. Trump today took a shot at Democrat governors across America who are edging their states back into lockdown claiming those lockdowns are doing more damage than the actual coronavirus, which he referred to as the “China virus”.

“The lockdowns in Democrat-run states are absolutely ruining the lives of so many people – Far more than the damage that would be caused by the China Virus. Cases in California have risen despite the lockdown, yet Florida & others are open & doing well. Common sense please,” Trump said on Saturday.

Trump’s statement came as many Democrat governors have begun restricting private businesses such as bars and restaurants, instituting shutdowns, and curfews.

In New York City, Governor Andrew Cuomo shut down indoor dining city-wide after high rates of COVID-19 positivity was reported.  In New Jersey, Governor Phil Murphy shut down bar service and instituted a 10 p.m. curfew on indoor dining.   Other Democrat states have acted similarly in response to the second wave of COVID-19.

Those governors have also placed restrictions on indoor family gatherings during the holidays, most limiting events to 10 members of the same family, warning families not to travel long distances to reunite during the holiday season.

The impact of the COVID-19 restaurant restrictions is visible and hundreds of restaurants in New Jersey have shut their doors for good, unable to make ends meet with the cap on indoor dining.  Now, bars are starting to feel the financial pressure.  In New Jersey, there is no financial relief by the state to assist those businesses whether the shutdowns.

Trump’s opinion on the subject contradicts the message at the ground level being issued by those governors who claim their decisions are based on science and health guidelines to save lives.

PORTLAND, OR – Nothing says Merry Christmas like walking around the neighborhood hitting random people with a baseball bat, especially if you live in crime-ridden Portland Oregon.  We’re not sure if the new rules proposed by the city council would cover this as a crime or whether or not it was a peaceful protest, but the Portland Police Department took it seriously.

On December 22nd, 2020, at approximately 10:36 p.m., North Precinct officers responded to the 1100 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard on reports of an individual who had been struck in the head with a baseball bat. Officers arrived on the scene and learned a victim was walking down the street when they were struck on the head by an unknown male with a baseball bat. An intricate description of the suspect was given to officers by the victim. After hearing the description of the suspect, officers conducted an area check but were unable to locate him.

Here’s what the Portland Police Department said about the incident.

On December 23, 2020, at approximately 12:02 a.m., North Precinct officers responded to the Rosa Parks Transit Station located in the 6500 block of North Interstate Avenue on reports of an individual who had attacked several people with a baseball bat. Officers arrived on the scene and learned an individual with a baseball bat had struck two victims as well as broke a TriMet Max Train window. The individual had left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival and was not located. The victims told responding officers that the suspect had struck them with a baseball bat on the shoulders and head as they exited the Max Train. The description given to officers of the suspect matched that of the suspect from the earlier call on Northeast Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard. Both victims were treated at an area hospital for the injuries they sustained during the incident.

Later in the morning, Central Precinct officers received separate calls of an individual attacking people with a baseball bat near the 500 block of Northeast Everett Street. When officers arrived on the scene, they were unable to locate the suspect or any victims. At 11:53 a.m., another call came in regarding the same individual and officers were able to locate and contact him. The suspect, 53-year-old Trendlon Deneishel Kimp Brewer, was wearing a backpack that had a baseball bat sticking out from inside of it. As officers took Brewer into custody, he swung at an officer, striking their cheekbone. The officer sustained a minor injury.

Brewer was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on charges of three counts of Assault 2, three counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Assaulting a Public Safety Officer, Interfering with a Peace Officer, and Disorderly Conduct II.

The investigation of these incidents continues to be ongoing. It is believed there may be more victims that may not have reported a similar incident. If anyone has information regarding these incidents they are asked to contact Detective Jeff McGuire at [email protected] or 503-823-0400.

NJ Governor Phil Murphy

TRENTON, NJ –  Only a Sith deals in absolutes. That’s the message Obiwan Kenobi delivered to Anakin Skywalker before beating him down in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith.   Earlier Anakin had told Obiwan, “If you’re not with me, then you’re my enemy.”

Many in New Jersey are beginning to think Governor Phil Murphy is a Sith Lord, ruling his state empire with an iron fist.  If you’re not with Phil Murphy, then you’re against him and that is evident each day he delivers his mandate to the people of New Jersey, disguised as COVID-19 pandemic health briefings.

Now, one New Jersey Senator, Joe Pennacchio is telling Murphy to stop his tyrannical reign and to start governing the people of New Jersey.

Prior to Christmas, Murphy told people not to visit their parents, because holiday gatherings are deadly.

“You could be passing this on to your parents or your grandparents, and essentially, I hate to say it, killing them,” Murphy fear mongered the population.  While, yes, the risk of transmitting COVID-19, Pennachio doesn’t want to let Phil Murphy forget that he is responsible for the largest outbreak of COVID-19 with the largest body count.  In March, Murphy and Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli sent COVID-19 positive patients back to nursing homes.  It turns out, at the same time, Murphy was also dictating to those homes that staff could not wear face masks. It was the perfect storm of COVID-19 and ill-equipped workers that lead to the death of more than 7,000 people.

“It’s no surprise that the Governor got it wrong. Young people are not killing their parents, but it may be time for the Governor to look in the mirror. His own administration directly contributed to the deaths of more than 7,100 grandparents in nursing homes,” Pennachio said. ““The lack of engagement by the Democrat Legislature has emboldened the Governor’s specious hyperbole, and this rhetorical blame game from the self-appointed captain of a rudderless ship does more harm than good.”

Pennachio said it’s time Murphy starts being a leader.

“At a time when the state needs leadership, not finger-pointing, he instead resorts to using disparaging terms to describe residents who don’t agree with his policies. Lead by example, not sound bites, Governor Murphy,” Pennachio said.

Deputies responded to the incident around 11:45 p.m. at 1160 San Jose Blvd., Daytona Beach. ELMWOOD, NJ – Authorities in Bergen County say a man spray gas from the nozzle of a gas pump and intentionally set a fire after a disagreement with the station clerk.

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of GLENN B. WILSON (DOB: 02/08/1984; single; unemployed) of 10 Marshall Street, Apartment 2J, Irvington, NJ on charges of Robbery and Aggravated Arson. The arrest is the result of a joint investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office under the direction of Chief Robert Anzilotti and the Elmwood Park Police Department under the direction of Chief Michael Foligno.

On December 14, 2020 at approximately 10:22 a.m., the Elmwood Park Police Department received a report of a fire at the Fuel 4 gas station located at 609 Market Street. Upon arrival, officers were advised that the fire was extinguished, but it had been intentionally set by a patron who then fled the scene. At that time, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit was contacted and an investigation was initiated by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Elmwood Park Police Department.

The ensuing investigation revealed that the fire was set by GLENN B. WILSON following a verbal altercation with the cashier inside the gas station and a verbal altercation with the gas pump attendant. WILSON removed the gas pump nozzle from his vehicle and sprayed gasoline on the ground adjacent to the gas pumps. The attendant then approached the vehicle and observed WILSON enter his vehicle and ignite the gasoline with a lighter prior to fleeing the scene without paying for the gasoline. Immediately after WILSON fled, the attendant retrieved a fire extinguisher and extinguished the fire.

As a result of the investigation, GLENN B. WILSON was arrested and charged with one count of Robbery, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:15-1a(3), a 1st degree crime; one count of Aggravated Arson, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:17-1a(1), a 2nd degree crime; and one count of Aggravated Arson, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:17-1a(2), a 2nd degree crime. He was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a detention hearing on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charges are merely accusations and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and he would like to thank the Elmwood Park Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.

TOMS RIVER, NJ – This year, we had a scumbag group of politicians here in New Jersey, who happen to actually be Republicans.  Those Republicans wanted to walk lock-step with Governor Phil Murphy’s assault on personal freedom and while the Governor has been urging people to avoid large gatherings, limit their interactions over the holidays and stay close to home, some in Trenton wanted more.

Their plan was a $15,000 fine for violating Phil Murphy’s COVID-19 executive orders.  Having 11 people over for Christmas instead of 10? Yep, $15,000 fine.

Luckily Shore News Network was able to make Greg McGuckin, John Catalano and James Holzapfel back down on their bill.  These three asshats wanted to fine people who were out of work, their businesses being shut down and struggling mentally and financially with huge fines.  Sure, for a man like Greg McGuckin, who is not only an Assemblyman getting a public contract, $15,000 may not be a lot.  McGuckin earns over $4,000,000 on the public dole annually for his heavy-handed political deals he has brokered for himself.

McGuckin didn’t care about the average working stiff when he proposed this law, but we stood up to him and won.  Eventually as the virus outbreak subsided, he looked ridiculous.  McGuckin looked like a fool for wanting to fine many people what amounts to about a third of their annual income.

Now with COVID-19 rebounding, we’re very concerned that Assemblyman McGuckin and his cohorts will resurface this bill if the lockdown returns.

We will remain vigilant against McGuckin’s abuse of power and watch the assembly bills daily to make sure he doesn’t try to sneak this one in again. We stood up to McGuckin and his absurd law and called him out.  On a side note, while he was asking for $15,000 fines, this scumbag politician also took a nearly $200,000 paycheck protection loan for his law firm, taking even more money out of the pockets of Main Street businesses in Ocean County that could have really used it.  During the pandemic, McGuckin’s firm continued to bill all of the dozens of towns and government entities that he had contracts with, but still took the free money from the federal government.

With that, we’d like to say Merry Christmas.  The best gift you can give yourself in Ocean County this year is voting McGuckin out of office in the June 2021 Republican primary…that’s if he’s not caught up in Operation Bid Rig IV that is going on at this time, most likely.

TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy is America’s fourth-worst governor according to the “Fiscal Policy Report Card on America’s Governors, 2020“, a report created by the CATO institute.

“Governors receiving an A are those who have cut taxes and spending the most, whereas governors receiving an F have raised taxes and spending the most,” the report says.

The report examines the widely varying tax and spending choices that governors have made in recent years. It discusses ways that states can respond to today’s budget challenges, including tapping revenues from marijuana legalization and cutting costs by prohibiting public-sector collective bargaining. The report also describes how states can prepare for future downturns by building large rainy day funds and creating stable and pro-growth tax bases.

With the 2020 health crisis and recession, governors across the nation are facing tough fiscal choices. However, the need for restraint and recovery provides an opportunity for governors to prune low‐value spending from state budgets and to pursue growth-enhancing tax reforms.

On a scale of 1 to 100, Murphy received a 32 and a letter grade of “F”.

Murphy was one of just seven governors receiving a failing grade, including Ralph Northam of Virginia, Andrew Cuomo of New York, Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan,  J. B. Pritzker of Illinois, Kate Brown of Oregon, and Jay Inslee of Washington.

The First Lady and I send our warmest wishes to all Americans as we celebrate Christmas.  While our gatherings might look different than in years past, this Christmas, like every Christmas, is an opportunity for us to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and show our heartfelt gratitude for the abundant blessings God has bestowed upon our lives and country.

In this season of peace, we cherish the warmth, generosity, and faith that breathe life into our holiday gatherings.  The love we share with our family and friends fills our hearts with joy, just as the story of Christ’s birth inspires people all over the world.  This year, we come together as proud Americans—grateful for our sacred right to worship freely and to openly profess our trust in the enduring light and promise of the coming of God.

To military families who are unable to celebrate Christmas together this year, our Nation humbly thanks you for your service and sacrifice.  We are forever indebted to those who courageously serve our country in uniform—and those who walk alongside them.  We also thank our Nation’s first responders, law enforcement officers, and frontline medical professionals who work tirelessly to serve and protect our communities.  Your daily contributions are an example of the selfless love of God and remind us of the noble principles we strive to live by, especially during this special time of year.

To all Americans, and to all our friends around the globe celebrating today, we wish you a very merry Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.
