JACKSONVILLE, FL –  The Jacksonville Police Department responded to quell a disturbance at the AMC movie theater on Western Boulevard after a patron was refusing to wear a facemask inside the theater.

According to police, on Sunday, at approximately 12:55 pm, they were called to the AMC movie theater located at 350 Western Blvd. to remove a person violating the mask-wearing laws. The initial investigation revealed that several patrons had gathered in the lobby of the theater to protest the fact that a patron was being requested to wear a face-covering per the AMC Corporate policy. The complaint alleged that a guest was being discriminated against due to a medical condition covered under the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Officers spoke to all parties concerned and determined that the incident occurred on private property and that AMC had requested the guests leave the property who were not complying with AMC’s policy regarding face coverings, which AMC indicated was to comply with the requirements of the Governor’s Executive Order regarding face coverings.

“hether there was a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, is a civil matter that must be resolved through a civil action, if necessary. Jacksonville Police Department’s role was to keep peace and investigate the possibility of trespassing on private property,” the department said. “There were no arrests or charges levied in this incident, and all protestors left the business on their own accord.”

TRENTON, NJ – A one-week mixup of COVID-19 vaccinations for assisted living facilities and state-run veterans homes has led to an additional 43 people being infected with COVID-19 this weekend.  Those living and working in the ‘cheap seats’ as the governor called it last week were exposed to the virus.

According to Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli, whose department failed to make a critical filing deadline, delaying vaccinations for 7 additional days at the state’s veteran homes, Vineland reports five new positive residents and 34 positive employees. They are reporting two COVID-confirmed deaths and one COVID-confirmed pending. Menlo Park reports three new staff and one resident, and Paramus reports no new cases.

This week, Murphy announced the rollout of the vaccine will begin at those facilities, one week later than anticipated due to the paperwork mixup.

“CVS has already coordinated and scheduled visits to 277 long-term care centers across the state over the next six weeks to provide roughly 80,000 vaccinations to residents and staff. By the end of this week, CVS will have visited 85 long-term care centers and provided more than 27,600 vaccinations. Judy and her team are currently working as well with Walgreens, our other pharmacy partner, to receive their full schedule. For the week, Walgreens is currently scheduled for 15 site visits and more than 4,100 vaccinations, and we’ll keep you updated on the progress as this program unfolds,” Murphy said.

SALEM, OR – Back in May, Salem, Oregon Salon owner Lindsey Graham opened her business in violation of Governor Kate Brown’s executive order restricting business operations.  She was fined $14,000 by Brown and the State of Oregon, but that’s just where things began. Graham said days later, representatives from the state’s Child Protective Services showed up at her home and interviewed her children, threatening to remove them from Graham’s home.

Little did Graham know that her small step of protest, of civil disobedience, would make her and her business a target by Governor Brown and her minions in state government.  Graham feels she was singled out by Brown to serve as proof that anyone who dares cross the Governor will be dealt with swiftly and accordingly.  Graham said the Governor’s ultimate goal was to make her an example to anyone else who may try to experience personal and economic freedom.

Now, Graham is suing the state.

On May 6th, 2020, at 9:05 am, Oregon Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Division, allegedly received an “anonymous” complaint concerning Graham and her three children. The “alleged complaint” was taken by Defendant Joel Baxter. No such complaint was ever actually received by Defendant Oregon Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Division. The “alleged complaint” is a complete and total fabrication by Defendant Oregon Department of Human Services, Child Welfare Division to again target Graham and Glamour, this time by making the battle personal and doing the unthinkable – going after Graham’s family”.

In Oregon, the government forced small businesses shut their doors and “ride out” the pandemic. The government imposed irrational and random restrictions on which businesses could remain open and which businesses had to close. The government provided little to no notice to the business owners or their employees before entire sectors of the economy were randomly closed for business,” Graham wrote in her filing. “The sudden, irrational, draconian, and irresponsible orders from the Defendant state of Oregon caused many people to lose their jobs, their careers and their small businesses.”

“While private business owners and their employees were forced to struggle through the government’s draconian edicts, the individual defendants named in this action remained comfortable, collecting a paycheck on the backs of the very people who were losing their jobs, careers and businesses. Defendant Kate Brown even lives in a mansion paid for by the taxpayers of Oregon, at a time when thousands of Oregonians are unable to make rent or mortgage payments. The repugnant nature of this conflict should not be lost on anyone,” the lawsuit reads.

The lawsuit contends the government exceeded his reasonable boundary:

  • Threatening Graham with a $70,000.00 fine when they knew Graham had not been generating income for nearly six (6) weeks, knowing full well that such a fine would likely bankrupt Graham and Glamour.
  • Threatening Graham with revocation of her Individual License and Facility License even though there was no evidence whatsoever that anything Graham or Glamour was doing presented any harm to the public.
  • Sending child protective services to Graham’s home in a not-so-veiled threat based on an entirely fictitious “report” of child neglect that was allegedly based on an “anonymous” report from someone who never actually witnessed Graham do anything wrong.

“The individual defendants, any one of them, could have stopped the persecution of Graham, but not a single person stepped in to do the right thing,” the lawsuit contends. “Instead, each individual Defendant continued to scheme of harassment, intimidation, bullying and borderline extortion developed by the Defendant State of Oregon and perpetuated by Defendant Kate Brown, who viewed Graham’s attempts to provide for her family as “unfortunate” and “irresponsible”. Under no circumstances is the conduct described in paragraph 121 acceptable conduct, and the fact that not one single individual Defendant stood up and tried to put a stop to the outrageous conduct is evidence of the individual Defendants’ intent to cause harm – severe emotional distress – to Graham. The individual Defendants know better, but they did nothing,”

CANTON, OHIO – U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman announced today that Matthew Paul Slatzer, age 36, of Canton, Ohio, was sentenced by Judge Donald C. Nugent to 27 months imprisonment, the maximum possible sentence allowable within the federal sentencing guidelines. Slatzer previously pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a person with domestic violence conviction.

“This defendant is well known within the community as an individual with a hateful ideology prone to threaten violence towards law enforcement and others based on race, religion or sexual orientation,” said U.S. Attorney Justin Herdman. “These hateful beliefs, combined with a history of actual violence, make the defendant a threat to the community and the entirety of the Northern District. We are grateful for the maximum possible sentence in this matter that will keep the defendant in federal prison where he can no longer threaten or harm others.”

“Possession of a firearm by someone with a violent criminal history, who continues to espouse hate and threaten law enforcement is reprehensible,” said FBI Special Agent in Charge Eric B. Smith. “Hate towards any group must not and will not be tolerated. Today’s sentencing is another example that shows the FBI is committed to investigating and holding accountable those like Mr. Slatzer, who engage in these types of acts. We will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to ensure justice is served.”

According to court documents, on February 2, 2020, Canton Police responded to a report of an intoxicated man with a firearm at a bar on Harrison Avenue NW in Canton, Ohio. Police arrived on the scene, contacted Slatzer, who was intoxicated, and collected the firearm. Slatzer was then arrested for possession of a firearm in a liquor permit establishment. Slatzer also possessed a weapon holster, knife, OC spray and ammunition.

Slatzer is prohibited from possession of a firearm due to a previous conviction of domestic violence on October 20, 2010, in the Stark County Court of Common Pleas.

According to a sentencing memorandum filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in this case, on May 3, 2020, Slatzer was involved in an incident in Stow, Ohio, at a Dollar General while on a pretrial release in a state case. The memorandum states that Slatzer entered the store with a hatchet and a sword and asked a store employee for directions to Kent State University. Slatzer remarked to the employee that he was told there were “a lot of Jews at Kent State.” Slatzer then stated he was an Aryan brother and that he was going to Kent State University to find some Jews.

The memorandum further states that during a previous arrest, Slatzer threatened to kill the arresting officers, remarking that “he would kill each pig one by one” after making racist and homophobic statements. Later, while incarcerated at Northeast Ohio Correctional Center, Slatzer made several phone calls stating that he wanted to “figure out how to smuggle a gun in here” and that when he gets out, if he has contact with officers again, he will “have to kill ’em.”

The sentencing memorandum asked the Court not to consider Slatzer’s political views or beliefs in a sentencing determination, but rather the danger posed to the community due to these views and beliefs.

This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Canton Police Department.  The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Toni Beth Schnellinger Feisthamel.

NEWARK DE, – According to Delaware Governor Carney, COVID-19 spreads faster when more than 10 people assemble in a home and in Newark, when 36 people gathered for a party, it was time for the SWAT team to intervene. Not quite, but everyone in the home was charged and sent home.

On December 28, 2020, at about 2348 hours, Newark Police were called to an apartment in the unit block of Center Street for a report of loud music. Arriving officers could hear loud music from an apartment, which violated the City of Newark noise ordinance. Officers made contact with persons in the apartment and determined that there were over thirty people in the apartment.

Officers charged three residents of the apartment with allowing loud music to be played in violation of city ordinance. In addition, thirty-six people present at the apartment were charged with violating a city ordinance that prohibits more than ten people, who do not reside together, from gathering indoors at a private residence during the COVID-19 pandemic. All persons were issued summonses and released at the scene without incident.

BARNEGAT, NJ – If you’ve been following things in Ocean County closely, a few business owners have been vocal against Governor Phil Murphy’s relentless assault on small businesses and restaurant owners during the pandemic.   The epicenter of opposition lies in the southern end of the county where business owner Chris Barlow of Big Barlow’s BBQ has made his opinion of the governor well known.  His stance against the governor hasn’t gone unnoticed.  Some on the liberal left have gone after him on his Facebook page. They randomly post replies to dinner specials with silly memes saying “Trump Lost”, etc.

When one “Maskhole Karen” went on a tirade against another local business in a local community group, Barlow chimed in on the conversation.

“It would be a good idea if you didn’t come to my place,” he told the resident, whose name we won’t publish, we’ll just call her “Karen”.

That was enough to trigger Karen.  She went into a tirade on the Big Barlow Facebook page.   Not only did she want to talk to a manager, she wanted to talk to the Better Business Bureau…and the state, even though the discussion wasn’t about Barlow’s business or executive order violations at his business.

“When I expressed concern about thelack of masks in a recent post, the owner replied that I am not welcome at his place of business,” Karen said in her online diatribe. “Cool beans man. I did, however, forward his response to me to the better business bureau and to the state. Maybe he thinks he is cool, a rebel and just genuinely exudes all things that make a man a man. I can imagine him yelling ‘liberal’ in a really loud voice which makes me smile, or hugging his guns in bed in case ‘the democrats’ are taking them away. I imagine a wife reassuring him he is a man, macho and in control! Loi. However, he has in his business dealings and obviously life, failed to realize the consequences. Which means fines as per the state, the fact that he is legally liable should one of his workers or customers get sick.”

Cool story, Karen.

Except that her comments didn’t hurt Barlow or his business.  The Ocean County community has since rallied behind him and his support for local businesses that are being punished illegally by Governor Phil Murphy.   Things got so bad for Karen she deleted her rant on his page.

“I love the support of all of y’all. People try to creep when they think im sleeping. Got to get up pretty early for that. Y’all made her delete her post,” Barlow said.  “It’s simple we are American people and we have our rights,”

He has since created a sandwich named after Karen, “The Sloppy Sally”.  It is a double-decker sandwich with smoked chicken, brisket, dirty slaw, Swiss cheese and Russian dressing on rye bread.  The sandwich idea was borne by Josh Werner, one of Barlow’s customers.

Barlow stood his ground when it came to handling the dogooder Karen who assaulted the local bagel shop and even though she has a tiny bit of sympathy for some, Barlow has none.  When he pointed out that Sally, err Karen was a Lacey School teacher, one person asked him if that was going too far.

“So I’m supposed to just roll over while she puts my business and family at jeopardy? I don’t think so. Unfortunately it is an eye for an eye because she’s never been in my restaurant,” he responded.

And now, it’s time to behold…The Sloppy Sally.

TOMS RIVER, NJ – When Democrats won the 2017 Toms River election, it sent shockwaves through the local political world.   Republicans in Toms River suffered a major upset, losing 3 out of 7 seats on the majority Republican council for the first time in many years.  That’s because Democrats Terrance Turnbach and Laurie Huryk played upon the fears of residents during that election with mailers detailing “Lakewood Style Development” being supported by their Republican opponents.

Now, Turnbach is leading a bipartisan charge against Toms River Councilman Daniel Rodrick to have the New Jersey Attorney General to silence him for opposing overdevelopment in Toms River.   The Democrats are joined by “Republican”  Councilwoman Maria Maruca and Councilman Kevin Geoghegan in a letter filed with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office seeking criminal charges against those who now oppose “Lakewood Style Development” in Toms River.

It was quite a different narrative in 2017 when Huryk and Turnbach were trying to get elected.  Their political campaign mailers warned of “Lakewood” incursion in North Dover. Turnbach even had a newspaper printed, which he personally picked up from the printer, paid for and mailed to the residents of Toms River, warning of the impending “Lakewood” threat if he and Huryk were not elected.

“If you don’t vote for us, Lakewood is going to take over Toms River,” was the message Huryk and Turnbach sent in their mailers.  They blamed Republicans for the overdevelopment, crowding, and changing demographics of the northern portion of Toms River.  They vowed to fight “Lakewood Style” development and they also vowed to stop Republicans from giving patronage jobs.

Since being elected, Huryk and Turnbach have done neither.  The two Democrats have since folded into the mix with Republican establishment in Toms River. Since taking office, Huryk and Turnbach have not opposed a single development project in the township, in fact, worked heavily behind the scenes in facilitating the resolution of lawsuits to allow what they once called “Lakewood-Style Development” in their campaign mailers.

When it comes to stopping Republican patronage jobs, Huryk and Turnbach have rubber-stamped every appointment proposed by Mo Hill, including a nearly half-million-dollar no-show pay-to-play job to Mo Hill’s political attorney ally, Gregory P. McGuckin.  When Mo Hill packed town hall with campaign donors, friends and political allies, Huryk and Turbach also voted yes.

At this point, nobody in politics would be surprised when Turnbach, a lawyer who represents sex offenders, rapists, and pedophiles by day, and Huryk, a nurse run their 2021 re-election bid under the Mo Hil team umbrella as a bi-partisan ticket.  Last week, Turnbach and Huryk railed against Councilman Daniel Rodrick because Rodrick warned residents about an unholy alliance between Hill and Scott Gartner during the 2019 mayor election.  Hill brought Gartner into his inner circle after Gartner threatened to sue Toms River unless the township changed the ten-acre zoning restrictions on houses of worship.  Because Gartner is an Orthodox Jewish resident, Turnbach contends that using his name and likeness in political mailers amounts to”criminal” anti-semitism.

Since winning their election with a campaign promise to defend Toms River against what they referred to as a threat from the north, Lakewood, Turnbach, and Huryk have now seen the error of their ways and according to a filing with the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office.  In that filing, Turnbach said Councilman Rodrick’s never ending battle to fight overdevelopment in Toms River is “anti-Semitic”.   In fact, saying anything about North Dover building, building violations, traffic and other growing pains associated with develpoment in that section of town, according to Turnbach amounts to nothing but “bigotry”.

Turnbach said Rodrick and his followers, the residents of Toms River, on social media are undermining his and Huryk’s goal of promoting diversity in Toms River, even saying Rodrick’s opposition to over-development is leading to “Chaos, Division and Destruction” in Toms River.  Turnbach went further, stating that the reporting of Huryk’s claim that Toms River is not a diverse enough community, being “too white” is nothing short of “racism”.

“The conduct of Mr. Rodrick and his affiliates in social media contradict and undermine the important initiatives, sponsored by both the Attorney General and the Toms River Police  Department, to foster inclusivity, promote diversity, and combat bigotry, and, if ignored, portend more chaos, division, and destruction,” Turnbach said in a letter to the Attorney General’s Office asking them to take criminal actions against any elected officials and media who seek to oppose overdevelopment.

Turnbach said Rodrick’s opposition to the township council’s now blind eye to overdevelopment amounts to nothing more than hatred and bigotry.

“Mr. Rodrick feeds the Internet hate machine to advance his personal and political agendas,” Turnbach said in his letter to Attorney General Gurbir Grewal to take criminal actions on all who oppose the Turnbach agenda.  That agenda includes homeless shelters, high-density housing and a radical shift in the fabric of the community in Toms River.   Turnbach, who by day represents the ugliest society has to offer, murderers, rapists, child sex offenders, child [censored]ographers, according to his website represents the local impact of America’s radical shift to the far left.   In fact, Turnbach, hopes one day he can serve as a judge to espouse his liberal agenda from the bench.

In the sharply worded request to silence Rodrick, Turnbach claimed Rodrick’s ousting of Gartner as a significant financial donor to Hill’s political campaign was nothing short of Anti-Semitic. In fact, Gartner, who threatened to sue the town months earlier, claiming a substantial financial war chest, instead, used that war chest to fund Hill’s campaign. After being elected, Hill immediately went to work to change the zoning ordinance in Toms River for Gartner, but he was caught working behind the scenes on an ordinance that would turn lower that limit from 10 acres to two acres in North Dover, but because Gartner is an Orthodox Jew, Turnbach says the criticism is off-limits.

“His campaign literature tells much of the story. In the 2017 campaign to represent Ward 2 on the Township Council, Mr. Rodrick disseminated numerous mailers attacking Lakewood-style development and accusing his opponent of taking campaign contributions from Lakewood developers. Lakewood borders Toms River to the north in is home to one of the world’s largest concentrations of Orthodox Jews,” Turnbach said.

Turnbach intentionally misled the Attorney General’s Office that his own campaign mailers in 2017 were exactly the same. They were also the same ones Huryk used in 2017.   Turnbach, who has aspirations to become a judge in Ocean County filed that letter to intentionally mislead the Attorney General to take criminal action against his political opponent…even in 2020 woke America, it’s too much for many to stomach.

LAKEWOOD, NJ –  Lakewood’s Dr. Rich Roberts, talks about his passion for mixed martial arts and his trainer George Sullivan, a professional MMA fighter. Roberts explains the importance of knowing how to get hit in order to learn how to fight.  After a long career in medicine, now retired, Roberts spends his days training his mind and body.  Roberts also talks about his involvement in the political campaign of President Donald J. Trump.

In the interview, Roberts, a key Trump campaign donor and the former Middle East and Israel policy advisor for the President said under Donald J. Trump, America won.

When asked why he got involved in supporting Trump, donating over $1,000,000 of his own money to the campaign in 2016 alone, Roberts said, “I just want to save the country. I want to save the values of this country that made it so great. Those are clearly values that Christian values…and Jewish values.  Those values are the wholesome values that make this country great.”

“The more left radical wings of the Democrat party is really trashing those values,” Roberts said. “I see the Republican party as preserving and forwarding those values. Under President Trump, those values make America win at everything. We just got crushed by a pandemic, who can predict that?”

When asked if he was going to remain politically active in the post-Trump world, Roberts said yes, “I plan on remaining politically active in the Republican Party.”

Yonkers, NY – This morning at approximately 2:07 AM an unmarked Yonkers Police unit was working a crime suppression detail in the area of Central Park Avenue in response to recent commercial burglaries which include local car dealerships. They observed a white Honda Pilot loitering in the area which appeared to be casing commercial locations; the Honda Pilot then drove southbound on Central Park Avenue passing several red lights. Officers checked the license plates which were reported stolen.

The unmarked unit with the assistance of marked units attempted to pull over the Honda Pilot but they refused to stop and instead fled southbound on Central Park Avenue at a high rate of speed. Yonkers Police pursued the Honda Pilot, which was discovered to be stolen from a dealership on Long Island, on to the southbound New York State Thruway. On the Thruway, the Honda Pilot collided – rear-ended – with a marked Yonkers Police unit driven by a police sergeant.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA  – Things just went from bad to worse for a former Huntington Beach crime scene investigator who was caught stealing drugs from an attempted murder suspect’s vehicle and driving his police SUV under the influence.

A former Huntington Beach Police Department crime scene investigator has been charged with stealing drugs from an attempted murder suspect’s vehicle, ingesting the drug, and then driving a police vehicle under the influence.

Sean Patrick Lotts, 53, of Huntington Beach, has been charged with one misdemeanor count of embezzlement by a public official, one misdemeanor count of seizing property under the color of authority, and one misdemeanor count of driving under the influence.

Lotts is scheduled to be arraigned on April 7, 2021 at the Stephen K. Tamura Justice Center in Westminster in Department W1. He faces a maximum sentence of two years in the Orange County Jail if convicted on all charges.

On January 23, 2020, Lotts was working as a crime scene investigator for the Huntington Beach Police Department when he was assigned to photograph a vehicle belonging to an attempted murder suspect. While processing the vehicle, Lotts is accused of taking photos of several pills found inside the vehicle and ingesting at least one of the pills. The pills were later identified as Flualprazolam, a rare designer drug.

Lotts is then accused of driving a Huntington Beach Police Ford Explorer to his home while under the influence of the drug.

Lotts resigned from the Huntington Beach Police Department in lieu of termination.

“I am disappointed and angered by this conduct. As the elected District Attorney, it is my responsibility to prosecute corrupt police officers and law enforcement personnel,” said Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer. “The public has an expectation that law enforcement employees – whether they are sworn or civilian – will conduct themselves in a way that is in accordance with the laws they are tasked with enforcing. It is ludicrous that someone processing a crime scene would even think of – much less act on – stealing evidence from a crime scene and then using that evidence for their own recreational purposes.”
