TRENTON, NJ – If you were planning on having a large family gathering at your home this coming Thanksgiving in New Jersey think again. If you planned on having more than 10 guests in your home, you will be violating the Governor’s latest executive order that puts a cap of 10 guests indoors at private gatherings. Once again, as during the spring the Murphy administration is following the lead of New York Governor Mario Cuomo who also put the kibosh on large Thanksgiving dinners.
“I’m signing an Executive Order retightening restrictions on gatherings to help stop the spread of COVID-19,” Murphy said. “Effective tomorrow, indoor gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people. Effective November 23rd, outdoor gatherings are limited to a maximum of 150 people. The following indoor gatherings may continue under the current rules, limited to 25% of a room’s capacity, up to 150 people. Religious services/celebrations and political events.”
Violating an executive order issued by the governor carries big penalties. You can be fined up to $1,000 and receive up to six months in the county jail for breaking the rules, so start figuring out now who is going to tell Aunt Edna and Uncle Jimmy they are guests 11 and 12 and no longer allowed to come.
If there’s a bright side in the order, the fine could have been $15,000 if a bill introduced by Ocean County Republican Senator Jim Holzapfel and Assemblymen Greg McGuckin and John Catalano had their way. The trio tried to increase the fines for violations to $15,000, but after public backlash, backed off their bill and eventually pulled it.
“There must be a stronger penalty for violating the social distancing orders during this outbreak,” said Assemblyman McGuckin when he proposed the stiffer penalty. “The strong financial penalties that would be imposed by our legislation should discourage people from hosting gatherings in violation of the prohibition during this crisis.”
Murphy scaled back the reopening of New Jersey as positive COVID-19 cases hit a record high of 4,450 cases in a single day.
“As we begin the holiday season, plan accordingly and keep social distancing and safety in mind,” Murphy said. “We MUST redouble our efforts and crush the curve like we did last spring. Our lives literally depend on it.”
CAPE CANAVERAL, FL – Once again, NASA and SpaceX have reached the skies, sending four astronauts to the International Space Station.
NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 astronauts are en route to the International Space Station following a successful launch on the first NASA-certified commercial human spacecraft system in history. NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission lifted off at 7:27 p.m. EST Sunday from Launch Complex 39A at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket propelled the Crew Dragon spacecraft with NASA astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, and Shannon Walker, along with Soichi Noguchi of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), into orbit to begin a six-month science mission aboard the space station.
After reaching orbit, mission teams and the crew prepared for their continued journey to the space station. Teams on the ground moved the spacecraft, named Resilience, into the proper configuration for the trip, and the crew removed their SpaceX spacesuits and prepared the cabin as they wind down their first day in space.
SpaceX engineers completed troubleshooting on heater controls associated with Crew Dragon’s propellant system, and updated the crew. Flight controllers in Hawthorne, California, determined the control limits were set too tightly and resolved the issue by resetting the limits and rebooting the heaters. They have verified that the heaters are working properly.
Resilience will dock autonomously to the forward port of the station’s Harmony module about 11 p.m. Monday, Nov. 16. NASA Television and the agency’s website are providing ongoing live coverage through docking, hatch opening, and the ceremony to welcome the crew aboard the orbiting laboratory.
LAKEWOOD, NJ – Donald Trump mega-donor Richard Roberts this week took time to talk about his take on the new COVID-19 case increase. Roberts said the number of hospitalizations across America are looking to spike beyond the levels of the first wave of COVID-19. It was Roberts in March who first advised Americans to make sure their levels of zinc and vitamin-c were in check before the worst of the pandemic broke out. Roberts said there has been a correlation between COVID-19 spikes and relaxed attitudes regarding the virus. Roberts says he believed the virus came out of a Wuhan laboratory in China. He said the important COVID-19 numbers are not being reported. Listen to what he had to say.
Instant karma was served in this now-viral video showing a Biden supporter harassing Trump MAGA fans then crashing into a light pole. “All that hate and look what it did,” shouted an off-camera deplorable. The driver was telling the Trump flag-waver, “You lost.”

LAS VEGAS, NV – Walmart has announced it will be rolling out a fleet of grocery delivery drones and has been testing the technology. Trials are anticipated for North Las Vegas and New York.
“Since the beginning of the pandemic, Walmart has remained focused on serving our communities, be it through innovating around contactless ways to shop or through our COVID-19 testing. The health and safety of our associates and customers has been our top priority, and we’ve remained dedicated to supporting efforts to expand COVID-19 testing through our drive-thru testing and partnerships with federal and state governments, labs and insurance companies,” said Tom Ward, Senior Vice President. “In recent weeks, we’ve announced two drone trials, one to deliver select grocery and household essentials, and another to test delivery of certain health and wellness products. Now Walmart is piloting drone delivery of at-home COVID-19 self-collection kits, an innovative new way to provide additional, and contactless, testing options. Walmart has partnered with Quest Diagnostics and DroneUp, a nationwide drone services provider, to launch trial deliveries of collection kits in North Las Vegas today and Cheektowaga, New York, in early October.”
“There’s a lot we can learn from our drone delivery pilots to help determine what roles drones can play in pandemic response, health care delivery and retail. We hope drone delivery of self-collection kits will shape contactless testing capabilities on a larger scale and continue to bolster the innovative ways Walmart plans to use drone delivery in the future,” Ward added.

2020 has been a year of contrasts between left and right, right and wrong, orange, and well, you know what we’re getting at. As we enter an unprecedented year, it has also been an unprecedented weather year with a record number of hurricanes and tropical storms, but the most contrasting photo is how the snow fell on one path. Now granted, the left side is a bunch of trees with no leaves and the right side is an evergreen forest blocking snowfall to the ground, the visual is nonetheless stunning and beautiful.
MLB Doesn’t Agree, But Trevor Bauer is the Best Thing to Happen to Baseball Since 1994
Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association did long-term damage to their brand in 1994 when they canceled the season because of a collective bargaining dispute. In the 26 years since, MLB slowly repaired the damage with its older fans, but not completely. We run into people all the time who cites 1994 as the last time they watched a Major League Baseball game to this day.
Let’s face it, MLB has lost the personal touch with its fans as an organization. It has lost touch with the media. The world has evolved around MLB which is still using an early internet model of top-down information delivery.
One of the people who are actively breaking that horrible mold is “former” Cincinnati Reds pitcher and yes, the 2020 National League Cy Young award winner Trevor Bauer. Bauer did something Major League Baseball hasn’t done since the 1980s with the old “This Week in Baseball” program hosted by Mel Allen and Ozzie Smith..he took fans behind the scenes in a way that is real and authentic.
And MLB seems to hate him for it. Bauer is no fan of boomer MLB commish Rob Manfred and Manfred is apparently no fan of Bauers, but Bauer is revolutionizing the way fans view and interact with Major League and professional baseball players through his new multimedia startup company, Momentum Films.
According to Momentum Films, “Momentum is an athlete-driven media company that uses storytelling to connect athletes and fans on a human level. Trevor Bauer and Taiki Green founded Momentum in 2019 with the goal of sharing authentic player stories and ultimately affecting the public perception of baseball. Since the launch, it became the first-ever player-led media company credentialed by Major League Baseball and has produced over 500 pieces of original audio and video content including popular series like Bauer Bytes and Live At-Bats. Momentum is changing the way that that baseball players and fans connect and ultimately how the sport is marketed. Content lives across Momentum digital channels as well as distribution partners including PlayersTV and FOX Sports.”
Bauer’s Momentum videos are seen by millions of fans monthly and have over 100,000 followers. That’s a small drop in the bucket compared to the overall Major League viewing audience, but he’s getting there and his ‘momentum’, pun intended, is pushing forward, and pushing forward hard.
Let’s face it, being a lifetime Yankees fan, I came into 2020 not giving a single crap about the Cincinnati Reds, their season, heck I’ll admit it, even Trevor Bauer. During the pandemic, we came across Trevor’s pandemic season VLOG and became instant fans. He was and still is, the only game in town when it comes to looking deep inside the inner workings of MLB during the pandemic. He was giving news at the ground level, not canned, regurgitated MLB press releases painting a rosy picture.
Trevor pushes limits, he might talk the talk, but at the same time, he walks the walk on the field. Bauer dominated his National League bubble in 2020 in now he’s one of the most coveted free agents in the league heading into 2021.
I went through the entire season not watching a single ‘pandemic’ game, but watched every single episode of Momentum’s coverage of Major League Baseball. Trevor has become the Bar Stool Sports of Major League Baseball, an entirely new way to look at sports coverage. Like Barstool Sports, Bauer is hated by the suit guys as much as BSS CEO David Portnoy is hated by the sports media suit guys.
I can’t imagine anyone under 30 being remotely interested in watching canned sports programs on ESPN or the MLB Network these days, so there’s a great market to capture for Bauer and Momentum and to solidify his brand as a major media presence for the under 30, heck, even under 40 MLB fan. If Bauer signs with the New York Yankees, the minute he steps into the Yankees dugout with his camera will make him an instant and overnight media sensation in the world’s largest sports market, New York. Add into the mix the uneasiness between Bauer and “Frenemy” Gerrit Cole and you have an instant media hit.
Bauer’s Momentum has a bright future, especially as MLB continues to downplay its success and continues business as usual on its mundane MLB.com platform.
CARMEL, IN – When the Carmel Clay Public Library had to shut down temporarily for construction of a new high-tech addition to their existing building, library officials moved their operations to an abandoned former Merchants Square supermarket. Now, the supermarket’s freezers are filled with books and the “Bread” section is now the “read” section. It will be their home for the next two years, but it’s a plus for the community as the supermarket has been vacant for about three years now.
“Looking for the biographies about Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton? Believe it or not, this is where you’ll find them at the Merchants’ Square Main Library. No potential bit of shelf space is off limits, including the freezer section,” the library posted when it reopened in October.
The unique location has been a great tool for the library to market itself to the community if for nothing else, getting people in the door and using the library services out of curiosity.

ORLANDO, FL – Four men violently entered a woman’s apartment on North Orange Blossom Trail earlier this month and now police are looking for help to identify the suspects. The police department this week released video footage from the apartment tenant’s home security camera. “We need your help,” the department said. “4 armed men kicked the victim’s door and entered her home demanding money on Nov 7th at an apartment complex on N OBT. Please use discretion as the following video shows a violent home invasion. If you have any information and/or know who these 4 suspects are, dial 321-235-5300 or our Robbery Unit directly at 407-246-2903.”

When New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, and other far-left liberal northeast governors meet for an emergency summit to create a plan to deal with COVID-19’s second wave…we can only assume the worst.
That’s because these governors coordinated the most comprehensive and longest lockdown of the private sector and individual freedom in the history of America this past spring. Dubbed an “emergency” summit by Cuomo, the governors said they will announce their “final decision” to the public sometime after their meeting. On the agenda would be the coordination of similar COVID-19 restrictions that could apply to all of the states involved.
Phil Murphy’s scalpel has apparently gone dull and he’s deciding now whether or not to bring out his COVID-19 sledgehammer.
The governors of Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont are also at the summit taking place today.
“The reality is the virus is mobile and we’re in the holiday season and people will travel more,” Cuomo said on Friday when he announced the summit. “These are all elements that conspire to increase the spread. We believe we’re going to have to be taking additional steps, and to the degree we can share information and align action with other regional states, we’ll do that.”
WASHINGTON, DC – In the nation’s capital this weekend nobody was safe from the Joe Biden aligned mobs of Antifa. Antifa Biden supporters attacked the elderly. They attacked women. They even attacked children. There was no shame in it, there was no regret and no remorse. Imagine in America, a time when freedom loving Americans who show up in Washington, D.C. to support our nation and our duly elected president are assaulted, beaten and attacked by anti-government thugs, aligned with the incoming “President-Elect”. This is the America we have to look forward to if Joe Biden wins the election. How do we know this? Donald Trump warned us…and it’s already happening.

RARITAN, NJ — The Coast Guard and partner agencies responded to a report of an overturned vessel and a person in the water in Raritan Bay, N.J., Saturday.
Coast Guard Sector New York watchstanders received a call on VHF radio at approximately 10 a.m., from a good Samaritan reporting an overturned 21-foot vessel with one person in the water in Raritan Bay. The good Samaritan was able to recover the unresponsive person from the water and begin CPR.
Boat crews from Coast Guard Station Sandy Hook and Coast Guard Station New York were dispatched to the scene. New Jersey State Marine Police, New York City Fire Department Marine, and New York City Police Department Aviation also responded. A Coast Guard Station Sandy Hook 29-foot Response Boat-Small boat crew arrived on scene within 10 minutes. The recovered person was transferred to the Coast Guard crew where they continued CPR efforts while en route to Monmouth Cove Marina, where the person was transferred to EMS.
Coast Guard and partner agency assets continued searching the area for other potential people in the water, until it was confirmed that the person recovered was the only occupant of the capsized vessel.
That didn’t take long. The party of peace and tolerance has elected a man who says its time to heal, but Joe Biden’s Jewish Engagement Director this week said he’s making a list of which sects of the Jewish religion continue supporting President Donald J. Trump.
“as far as I know, every major religious denomination in our community acknowledges the truth. Joe Biden is going to be the next President of the United States. Note who in the Jewish community hasn’t. Telling.”
Note who in the Jewish community hasn’t? How? Like making a list?
Keyak’s comments rang an eerie tone of McCarthyism, or worse yet, something right out of early 1940’s Nazi Germany and even his own followers called him out on it.
As far as I know, every major religious denomination in our community acknowledges the truth. Joe Biden is going to be the next President of the United States.
Note who in the Jewish community hasn’t.
Telling.

Here are some replies:
- Sounds like Aaron is about a week away from saying people on his list should start wearing stars on their clothing.
- You would think the Jewish engagement director would, you know, engage with these Jewish Communities and he would know about their statement.
- It’s disheartening to bump up against a dog whistle, from a Biden campaigner.
- Ok put me and my family on your list!
- Aaron, as the Engagement Director, you can except a call shortly from the Unity Director about the importance of congruent messaging.
- So Biden will usher in an era of unity, except if you are orthodox! Good to know.
- How should we make note of them? With badges or patches or…?
Keyak later did some walking back of his disgusting comment, “Do some people on this website really think I don’t have strong ties to or knowledge of the Orthodox community? “Every major religious denomination in our community” obviously includes OU & Agudah.”

The rains of Oregon are getting colder and turning to hail as gumball sized hail fell in Multnomah County Oregon. The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Department captured this video on Friday the 13th saying, “With the stormy weather, Multnomah Falls is flowing, and the hail is coming down! One of our patrol deputies took this video around 10:30 this morning. She estimated the hail to be about the size of a gum ball. Drive safe!”
TRENTON, NJ – As New Jersey enters the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and positives cases are up to 3,000 per day, Governor Phil Murphy issued a warning. All options are on the table. This week, Murphy instituted a bar shut down and ordered all restaurants shutdown indoor dining by 1o pm. He also put an end for now, to indoor interstate youth sports competitions.

On your question about the 10-person limit, all options are on the table. School district plans, the general community reality is obviously taken into account but we’ve said this before, and we don’t make light of anyone, not even one of these cases in schools, but there is a clear disconnect between the reality of what’s going on inside of our school buildings and the communities that surround them. There’s just no question about that.
And by the way, if you look to Europe, you’re seeing the same thing, even in the countries that are cutting down dramatically or locking down dramatically. They’ve overwhelmingly kept schools open. The regional risk metrics, I assume that’s going from moderate to high. I mean, we’re talking about 3,000-something cases a day.
TRENTON, NJ – When asked what his feelings are towards residents with COVID-19 and mask frustration, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy pulled out his blunt force instrument. There was no scalpel in his answer.
“What is your message to the people who apparently are tired of wearing the mask over their nose as well as their mouth? They think it’s uncomfortable and annoying and it’s just too much for them to handle so they’re just not doing it,” asked NJ 101.5 reporter David Matthau.
“You know what’s really uncomfortable and annoying? When you die. That’s my answer,” Murphy responded. Check it out below.
