Montgomery County police investigate anti Semitic graffiti
MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Detectives are searching for three suspects after anti-Semitic graffiti was spray-painted on a Montgomery County elementary school during an early morning vandalism incident caught on surveillance cameras.
The vandalism happened Saturday, May 2, around 3 a.m. at Greenwood Elementary School located on Gold Mine Road, according to Montgomery County police.
Investigators said graffiti was spray-painted onto a wall and the side of the school building’s roof before the suspects fled the area.
Police released surveillance images showing three individuals believed to be connected to the incident.
According to investigators, one suspect is described as a white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.
A second suspect was described as a male of unknown race with black curly hair, wearing a bandana-style face mask, a black hooded sweatshirt, blue shorts and shoes.
The third suspect is described as a white male with reddish medium-length hair extending to his neckline, a small red goatee, and wearing a gray hat, black T-shirt, black shorts and shoes.
Detectives said the three suspects were seen leaving the school property following the vandalism.
The Montgomery County Department of Police 4th District Investigative Section is leading the investigation.
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding the suspects or the incident to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
