BROOKLYN, NY – A man who attempted to stab a deli worker in Carnasie retired later with a gun and shot at him.
Now, the New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the male suspect involved in that incident.
On Saturday, around 09:55 AM, the unidentified individual entered a deli located at 1376 Rockaway Parkway and engaged in a dispute with a 41-year-old male employee.
“The suspect punched the employee and attempted to stab him with a knife before leaving the store. He later returned with a firearm, discharging two rounds into the store before fleeing in a black Mercedes Benz SUV northbound on East 96th Street,” the NYPD said in a statement.
The employee refused medical attention, and there were no reported injuries from the gunfire. The suspect is described as a bald male, believed to be 50-60 years old, last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
