PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, MD – A man has been arrested and charged in connection with a fatal stabbing in Beltsville, as reported by the Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD).
The incident occurred on August 5 at around 11 p.m., when officers responded to a call about an unresponsive man in the 10000 block of Baltimore Ave. Upon arrival, police found a man who had been stabbed and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after the stabbing, police apprehended the suspect near the scene without incident. The investigation revealed that the suspect, identified as 39-year-old Francisco Ayala Alvarenga of College Park, stabbed the victim during an argument. Police confirmed that the two individuals knew each other.
