Back-to-back crashes slow Toms River evening commute in North Dover

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Two separate motor vehicle accidents disrupted the north end of town after collisions occurred within minutes of each other.
The first crash was reported at Silverton Road and Old Freehold Road during the early evening commute.
A second collision unfolded at Vermont Avenue and North Maple Avenue shortly afterward, adding to traffic delays in the area.

Shortly after, police units were dispatched to Vermont Avenue and North Maple Avenue, where another collision created congestion across the northern corridor.
