Baltimore, MD- Officers from the Baltimore Police Department responded to an unarmed robbery on East Redwood Street on Tuesday at around 5:11 p.m. The response was prompted by a victim’s report, detailing an assault and theft incident involving two unidentified female suspects.

The victim, who was on her way into an apartment, was approached and assaulted by the suspects. Her cellphone and keys were taken. The police, after gathering descriptions from the victim, began to canvass the surrounding area for potential suspects.

In the course of their search, officers identified and located two female juveniles, aged 16 and 15. The suspects matched the description provided by the victim and were subsequently taken into custody.

Both juveniles were arrested and transported to Juvenile Bookings for processing. The Baltimore Police Department is continuing to investigate the details surrounding the incident.
