Baltimore police arrest suspected serial bank robber

Baltimore, Md. – A significant breakthrough in the fight against crime was achieved with the arrest of suspected serial bank robber Donte Green.

On October 12, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Baltimore Police Department’s Warrant Apprehension Task Force, in coordination with the U.S. Marshals’ Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force (CARFTF) and the FBI Baltimore Field Office, apprehended the 34-year-old suspect aboard a Greyhound bus in the 1100 Block of Russell Street. This operation occurred as Green attempted to flee the state.

Green is linked to multiple armed bank robberies that occurred in September and October across Baltimore City and Baltimore County. He faces numerous charges, including armed robbery, assault, and theft.

Additionally, Green had outstanding warrants for aggravated assault and multiple parole violations. After his arrest, he was transported to the Baltimore County Public Safety Building for processing and later to the Towson Precinct for his bail hearing.
