Following the arrest, detectives transported Johnson to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges of attempted first-degree murder. This charge stems from an incident reported on November 8, 2023, when police were dispatched to Erdman Avenue around 2:20 p.m. in response to a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon their arrival, officers found the 35-year-old male victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was quickly taken to an area hospital to receive necessary medical treatment.
