Bohn siblings, children of PBA Hall of Famer from Jackson reach national bowling stage together in rare feat

Three siblings from one New Jersey family set to compete for collegiate bowling titles in the same week.

Jackson, NJ – What began as sibling competition at a local bowling alley has grown into a rare national milestone, as three brothers and sisters from Jackson prepare to compete for collegiate championships on the same week’s biggest stages.

Justin, Brandon, and Sydney Bohn, all raised training at Howell Lanes, are now headed to separate national tournaments across the country. Sydney, 20, will represent Vanderbilt University at the NCAA NC Bowling Championships Final Four on April 10–11 in Parma Heights, Ohio. Days later, her brothers will compete in the Intercollegiate Team Championships in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Family legacy fuels national-level success

The Bohn siblings come from a family deeply rooted in the sport. Their father, Parker Bohn III, is a 35-time PBA Tour champion, while their mother, Leslie Bohn, is a past Intercollegiate Team Championships MVP. Both now coach at Bohn’s Elite Training Center, where the siblings developed their skills.

“This is something really special for our family,” the Bohns shared. “They’ve put in so many hours together over the years, and now to see all three of them competing for national championships at the same time is incredible.”

That foundation helped shape each sibling into a collegiate-level competitor, with years of shared training and competition contributing to their advancement.

Senior seasons add stakes for brothers

Justin, 23, will compete for the Savannah College of Art and Design, while Brandon, 21, represents Webber International University. Both are entering their final collegiate seasons, adding significance to their appearances at nationals.

Brandon returns as a previous Intercollegiate Team Championships national champion after winning in 2024, while Justin is pursuing his first ITC title after capturing an NAIA national championship in 2024.

Sydney’s appearance in the NCAA Final Four marks a continuation of the family’s success on the women’s side of the sport, placing her among the top collegiate bowlers in the country.
