BALTIMORE, MD – The C.P. Crane power plant in Bowleys Quarters is no more. This week, the former power plant was demolished in a planned implosion.
YONKERS, NY – The Yonkers Police Department has released a video that shows their view of an encounter with a woman who was stopped driving an unregistered moped. The incident quickly escalated and video of the incident went viral.
Today, the department released the full video.
“The incident itself revolved around the arrest of an individual who fled from Officers while she was being detained during an investigation into her reckless driving of an unregistered moped on a busy city sidewalk,” police said. “Unregistered and uninsured moped operation on Yonkers streets and sidewalks is one of the most frequent complaints from community groups in recent months. After the individual attempted to flee, the officers caught up to her and attempted to restrain her.”
The individual continued to refuse to comply, at which point an Officer utilized a standard take-down to bring her to the ground to be handcuffed. Subsequent to her arrest, a knife was recovered from an easily accessible front compartment on the moped.

Rare Humpback Whale Triple Lunge Caught on Video at the Jersey Shore
LONG BRANCH, NJ – When you’re out on a whale and dolphin watching cruise, you usually hope to go home after seeing at least one whale. Whale sightings have become more common at the Jersey Shore in recent years, but this week, the folks over at Jersey Shore Whale Watch, out of Belmar captured a triple humpback whale breach, an extremely rare feat.

As the tour director was talking about the whales, the three whales lunge out of the water while feeding. The sighting took place off the coast of Long Branch, here at the Jersey Shore.

OCEAN CITY, NJ – As you come across the Ocean City Causeway or other areas of the Jersey Shore, you might be puzzled to see blue traffic signs with simple white question marks on them. But what do they mean?
It has been suggested that if you hit it, you might get a few coins to pop out. Of course, that’s a joke, but what are they? They’re found on bridges, near parkway exits and along the coast of the Jersey Shore and in other places of New Jersey.
After looking into it, we found the answer. It’s simply a sign telling motorists that some sort of informational kiosk, tourist center or informational tourism information is available ahead. These are placed on roads out side visitors centers and other tourist destinations that provide information to visiting travelers.
It’s kind of like the blue H signs that mean a hospital is nearby.

VERNON, NJ – You never know what you’re going to find on the roads in New Jersey. Every day is a mystery, but for this driver in Vernon in New Jersey, a decal with a man holding a gun to the back of the head while another is kneeling in front of him is raising quite a few eyebrows.
But does this anti-child abuse message go too far? It says simply, “Shoot your local pedophile.”
The photo was taken by an r/NewJersey sub follower and posted saying, “I have seen some weird $shit on New Jersey cars, but this one is really something else.”
A passenger on the same flight as boxing legend Mike Tyson harassed the former world champion while he sat in his seat aboard a JetBlue flight from San Francisco to Florida. Shortly after TMZ released a video of the boxer pounding a man on a plane, a second video emerged showing the man harassing and taunting Tyson.
Earlier Tyson took time to take a picture with the man, and his friend, talking to them both briefly, but the intoxicated passenger went on to goad him until he couldn’t take it anymore.
The San Francisco Police Department said their officers interviewed the victim, who refused to cooperate with the investigation.
“Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat,” a spokesperson for Tyson later said.
Tyson’s incident came as the TSA announced it will continue its zero-tolerance policy against unruly behavior on planes. Tyson departed from the plane after the incident. The man had several scrapes and cuts on his head and a torn shirt.
At this time, no charges have been filed against Tyson.

Los Angeles Mayor Says He Regrets Unmasking at Super Bowl, but Here’s Why
Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti is now wishing he never took his face mask off for a photo op with Magic Johnson at the big game held in his city. Garcetti’s action cause widespread outcry claiming he violated the Los Angeles County indoor mask mandate. He’s not sorry he violated the rules, he’s upset that his violation garnered nationwide attention.
Garcetti at So-Fi Stadium without a mask at the NFC championship and Super Bowl led to lots of criticism online.
“Do you think that you made a mistake?” Garcetti was aked. “Did you learn any sort of lessons from the way that all went down and do you understand why so many people were so frustrated?”
Garcetti maintains his position that no rules were violated. He even claimed at one point that he held his breath for the photo.
“I was abiding by the county regulations for instance at the Super Bowl, you know I abided the whole time,” the mayor said. “You’re allowed to eat and drink with the mask off and I always gave people my face for a picture because that’s what they asked for.”
The mayor said the uproar was all about nothing and it isn’t even worthy of a news story.
“I think that there’s real news out there and this isn’t a real story,” he said, offering his advice to other Democrat mayors who push mask mandates but violate them personally. “My advice is if your mayor don’t take the mask off.”
Chaos erupted in a Louisiana State University (LSU) dining hall when a raccoon fell through the ceiling Wednesday evening.
Students could be seen screaming and running throughout the cafeteria in videos posted on social media and shared by Reveille, a local media outlet.
One video showed a crowd gathering around the raccoon and filming as it sat on the back of a chair and rummaged through a backpack. Other videos show cafeteria staff frantically chasing the raccoon with a broom and a trash can.
At one point, two men closed in on the raccoon in a video shared by LSU Tiger TV. One slowly lowered a large trash can beneath it as the other struck the raccoon with a broom.
The raccoon narrowly missed the trash can and spun several times midair before sprinting past several more people poised with brooms and trash cans as onlookers shrieked with excitement.
A student told the Reveille that the men attempting to trap the animal with brooms and trash cans were with animal control workers and that before they showed up, a cook tried to catch the raccoon with a basket.
“All I hear was a raccoon was in the 459,” one student told Reveille. “I went and still got my food because I thought that it was fake. The raccoon then ran underneath my table and I immediately got on top of the chair.”
“The raccoon was trapped by the pasta area by LSU students so it would not run,” another student said, Reveille reported. “The workers still allowed students to enter even though they knew that a raccoon was inside.”

LGBT groups and Warner Bros. are silent after scenes containing sexually explicit material and LGBT content were censored in the Chinese streaming version of the Emmy Award-winning American sitcom “Friends.”
While there are many instances of People’s Republic of China (PRC) censors altering Western entertainment — including the 2015 marketing of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” when the image of the black character, Finn, was reduced in size on the promotional poster — it is unclear whether Chinese officials or Warner Bros. itself altered the material.
The Daily Caller News Foundation reached out to Warner Bros. concerning the details of its licensing agreement with PRC streaming platforms, but the company did not respond to request for comment.
DCNF also contacted LGBT activist groups GLAAD and Human Rights Campaign, however they too did not make themselves available for comment.
Although “Friends” ran uncensored on PRC streaming platforms between 2012 and 2013, since Feb. 11, 2022, Chinese platforms Youku, iQIyi, Bilibili, and Tencent Video only offer censored versions.
Only season one has been made available in the re-release, it is already apparent censors intend to excise all content the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) finds objectionable, including, but not limited to, sexually suggestive material and LGBT content.

As the series took as its premise the interlocking love lives of six people, the censorship of the PRC’s episodes of “Friends” has drastically altered show, as topics such as strip clubs and orgasms have been harmonized, and several LGBT scenes and whole plot lines have been erased.
The entire backstory of the show’s protagonist, Ross, played by David Schwimmer, has been significantly modified in the new PRC streaming version, censors having removed all mention of Ross’s lesbian ex-wife divorcing him after embracing her homosexuality, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The PRC streaming of “Friends” also features the targeted removal of specific scenes which censors find objectionable. In episode 10 of the first season, “The One With The Monkey,” even a scene featuring a New Year’s kiss played as a gag between male characters Joey and Chandler — portrayed by Matt Leblanc and Matthew Perry, respectively — found itself on the cutting room floor, according to The Wrap.
Sexually charged content and LGBT material is not unique to the first season of “Friends,” a long-running show which aired between 1994 and 2004.
Later seasons of “Friends” feature increasingly graphic comedic bits, such as when Courtney Cox’s character, Monica, described seven erogenous zones to Chandler in “The One With Phoebe’s Uterus,” during season 4, episode 11.
In like manner, same-sex kissing between women is depicted on more than one occasion throughout the run of “Friends,” including in season 7, episode 20, “The One With Rachel’s Big Kiss,” which not only features a kiss between Jennifer Aniston’s character, Rachel, and Winona Ryder’s character, Melissa, but also a kiss between Rachel and Lisa Kudrow’s character, Phoebe.
By series end, “Friends” also included many additional LGBT scenes between male cast members PRC censors would purportedly find objectionable.
While it did not turn out to be so, beginning as early as season one, other characters suspected Chandler to be gay, such as his work colleagues. Even still, this bit was revisited many times, including in season 5, episode 5, “The One With The Kips,” in which Joey suspects Chandler to have been on a “gay cruise.” What’s more, later seasons came to explore Chandler’s relationship with his gay father who was revealed to be a drag queen working in Las Vegas.
Notwithstanding the heterosexual kissing in “Friends,” the series filmed almost all of the same-sex kissing from an angle which concealed most, if not all, of the embrace.
However, season 10, episode 1, “The One After Joey And Rachel Kiss,” broke this trend and was shot so as to put the kiss between Joey and Ross on full display.
The new release of “Friends” is not the first instance of the PRC censoring LGBT content within inbound foreign entertainment, such as when the Propaganda Department of the Chinese Communist Party censored the homosexual background of the lead singer of Queen, Freddie Mercury, in “Bohemian Rhapsody.”
The PRC drive to censor such content stems directly from the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Xi Jinping who, as recently as December 2021, has made it clear he seeks to ensure all art and literature “serve the party.”
Xi has implemented increasingly tight internet regulations and enforces strict adherence to CCP doctrine, a worldview which regards the West’s promotion of “universal values” as “an attempt to weaken the theoretical foundations of the Party’s leadership,” according to leaked PRC documents.
The media and entertainment environment in the PRC is explicitly hostile to LGBT content, which the CCP perceives as a potential vehicle for “counterrevolutionary” thought. In past year, the PRC has issued an outright ban on “sissy men” and a Jiangsu court upheld the usage of teaching materials which classified homosexuality as a “psychological disorder.”

A video surfaced Sunday of Border Patrol agents’ rescuing a family of Haitian migrants that nearly drowned in the Rio Grande river in Del Rio, Texas.
Agents in the video appeared to be aiding the group, with one seemingly performing CPR on one of the migrants as the strong current of the river ran adjacent to the group.
Del Rio Chief Patrol Agent Jason D. Owens said that the “dangerous” incident shows how “time (and) time again” border agents “go above (and) beyond the call of duty.”
Before they were rescued, the migrant family was making its way to the riverbank on the U.S. side, but the ground beneath them collapsed, sending them into deep water, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) press release. The family members reportedly struggled to stay afloat amid the powerful current which swept them further down the river.
Border agents spotted the group while on patrol of the area around 7:40 a.m, the CBP release said.
The attempt to save the migrants’ lives involved one border agent jumping into the river and another unsuccessfully throwing a rescue bag to the group, CBP announced. The agent in the water reportedly managed to pull a mother, 34, and a five-year-old girl out of the water before bringing a man, 33, who had been underwater for a long period, to safety.
The agents then rendered aid and called Emergency Medical Services, which reportedly transported the family to a nearby hospital for additional treatment.
The Border Patrol union in Del Rio applauded the agents who conducted the rescue, emphasizing the importance of having agents on the frontlines.
“Agents rescue people at the river and in the middle of nowhere every day, but only if we are able to be outside actually doing our job,” the union chapter wrote.

HIGHLANDS, NJ – We knew it would only be a matter of time before somebody out there put the Chevrolet Silverado EV Super Bowl Commercial featuring Jaimie-Lynn Seigler (Meadow Soprano) and Robert Iler (AJ Soprano) side by side for comparison. The iconic Sopranos intro was filmed ahead of the inaugural season of the hit HBO show in 1999.
A lot has changed in the 23 years since and if you’re from the New York and New Jersey areas, you’ll notice some glaring differences. One of the major differences is the New York City skyline, now filled with hi-rise residential towers in midtown, and sadly, the transformation from the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers to the Freedom Tower. The Twin Towers were destroyed on September 11, 2001, in a terrorist attack two years after the show launched.

While those tickets are still in use, Meadow is seen breezing through an E-Z Pass toll lane.
Meadow has traded Tony’s trademark cigar for a lollipop. Instead of passing a cemetery on the way, Meadow instead passes a playground.
While Tony pulls up at his mob boss estate, Meadow pulls up in Highlands, New Jersey, or as they would say in the show, “Down the Shore”. She meets her brother A.J. in front of Bahr’s Landing Famous Seafood Restaurant alongside some electric car charging stations.

A Republican candidate challenging Arizona Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly released a wild west-themed campaign ad that shows him shooting at President Joe Biden, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Kelly himself.
The ad depicts the Democratic trio as “Old Joe,” “Shifty Kelly” and “Crazyface Pelosi,” facing off against Jim Lamon, the Republican vying for Kelly’s seat. It reenacts a classic western standoff, including a desert landscape, frontier town and cowboy dress, with Lamon standing across from the three as townspeople complain about gas prices and “open borders.”
After the actors playing Kelly and Biden draw guns and the actor playing Pelosi draws a knife, Lamon shoots the weapons out of all of their hands, forcing them to flee.
“The good people of Arizona have had enough of you,” Lamon said before shooting at them. “It’s time for a showdown.”
The ad was criticized, especially since it showed Lamon shooting at Kelly, whose wife, former Rep. Gabby Giffords, was nearly assassinated in a 2011 mass shooting.
“Absurd and desperate,” fellow GOP Senate candidate Blake Masters said in a statement to The Arizona Republic. “Fits his campaign.”
“When you don’t have substance, I guess this is what you resort to,” said Stephanie Grisham, former President Donald Trump’s onetime press secretary. “It’s petty & dangerous & it’s beneath Arizona voters who deserve so much more.”
Kelly ousted Republican Sen. Martha McSally in a 2020 special election, and he is seeking a full term in 2022. His race is likely to be one of the most competitive in the country, and it could tip the balance of the 50-50 Senate which Democrats control with Vice President Kamala Harris’ tiebreaker vote.

CECIL COUNTY, MD – On Friday morning, North East Police Department Officer Corporal Annette Goodyear was working traffic safety for students of the Cecil County Public Schools helping students cross the road to get to school. As a child was crossing the road, a woman, ignoring the crosswalk, bright orange poncho worn by Officer Goodyear and the student sped through the crosswalk, ignoring her gestures to the vehicle to stop.
Seeing this, Goodyear grabbed the student and quickly moved the student out of harm’s way. She was struck by the vehicle, but the student was not injured. Her selfless sacrifice might have saved the child’s life.
“It was strange. As I’m lying there I’m thinking to myself this actually did happen. I didn’t even know what to think about at that point,” Goodyear said. “It didn’t seem real as it was happening.”
Goodyear was taken to the hospital where she was treated for her injuries.
“We want to take a moment to recognize Officer Annette Goodyear of the North East Police Department for her heroic actions today. We are thankful that Officer Goodyear was treated and released from the hospital after she pushed a student out of the way of an oncoming car,” the Cecil County Public School District said in a statement. “We are forever grateful for the selfless response of this hero.”
Goodyear said she was just trying to do her job and make sure every child got to school safely. After leaving the hospital, she visited the student to make sure she was also alright.
“She came down the stairs saw me standing there and as she was walking toward the door she was getting teary-eyed, and you could see it and when she got teary-eyed, then her dad started getting teary-eyed, and we all started at that point,” Goodyear said. “I was just so thankful she was standing there and that she was OK.”

A Colorado deputy from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is being hailed as a hero after putting his own health and safety on the line to rescue Hank, a dog stuck in a burning SUV. Body camera footage from Deputy Michael Gregorek showed the officer’s arrival at the scene of an SUV which was quickly becoming engulfed in fire and full of thick black smoke.
Upon his arrival, the dog’s owner, who was visibly upset was telling Gregorek that Hank was still in the vehicle. Using his retractable baton, Deputy Gregorek began breaking windows to begin his search. After Hank’s owner unsuccessfully tried to pull him out of the rear compartment, Gregorek reached through the overpowering smoke and pulled Hank to safety.
Luckily for Hank, one of his neighbors was a veterinarian and began providing medical assistance to him.
“Once I arrived on the scene I saw a gentleman who happened to be the owner of the vehicle and the owner of the dog throwing something at the back of the vehicle,” Gregorek said, thinking the man was throwing a molotov cocktail. “He started screaming ‘My dog is in the car’ and then it switched.”
Hank was salivating and struggling to breathe. After calling Hank a few times, Gregorek realized the dog’s body was starting to tense up and he exhibited signs of smoke inhalation.
It turns out Deputy Gregorek is also a dog lover.
“It sounds tacky, but I’m a dog parent,” Gregorek said. “My only baby is my dog.”

We’re not sure what Uncle Roger was doing driving along the Palisades Parkway in North Jersey last week. Perhaps he heard the Garden State is home to some of the best fried rice and ramen noodle in America, fuiyoh!
The video was published on YouTube last week and shows an aggressive driver dashing between lanes, brake checking, and in an apparent rush to get somewhere. While this is typical behavior on any given day on New Jersey’s highways, this time, the aggressive road raging driver didn’t fare well.
The road raging Honda driver tried to cut off a pickup truck, but was checked by the truck, then decided to pass traffic down the right shoulder. Then it happened. The car clipped the pickup, then crashed into a rock cliff before overturning and leaving a Honda salad all over the Palisades Parkway.
Haiyahaa.
The entire ordeal was captured apparently by Uncle Roger and an unknown Auntie. If it wasn’t Uncle Roger, this is to serve notice to the real Uncle Roger that he’s also a victim of identity theft. Two crimes. One video. Fuiyoh!

CLEARWATER, FL – It’s been five years since Captain Jack Sparrow found work in the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Nowadays, his compass points towards homes with Amazon packages on their front porch.
A Captain Jack Sparrow look-alike is now sought in Clearwater after he was caught plundering packages on on a front porch in that Florida gulf coast town.
The Clearwater police didn’t hold back when it came to having a little fun with their bulletin about the incident.
“Will the real Captain Jack Sparrow please stand up? One of these is really him; the other is a porch-pirate, package-pilfering suspect (say that three times fast) from a Hercules Avenue burglary case,” the Clearwater Police said today. “He came not by sea, but by a 2013 Subaru Forester, and snatched a package that had just been delivered by Amazon to a house there.”

A video of a dog sharing its dinner with a kind human is going viral. In the video, the hungry dog pulls up a bowl beside his owner and drops his bowl on the table, wanting in the action. After its owner graciously accepts the invite and gives her everything on her plate, he realizes he can’t play her like that. So he decides to share half of his newfound meal back with his lovely owner. And that’s why dogs are truly a man’s best friend.

Rogan pointed out that past claims of misinformation by tech giants and the government include the ineffectiveness of cloth masks, COVID-19 origins and vaccines as a mechanism to stop the spread of the virus. In December of 2021, the omicron strain of the virus was easily transmittable among both the vaccinated and unvaccinated populations. Medical reports continue to support the fact that while the vaccines may lessen the severity of the illness, they no longer claim to stop the spread of the virus.

Sioux Falls, SD – A Sioux Falls police officer engaged in a routine traffic stop and realized the driver had an outstanding warrant. After arresting the driver, he did the right thing and finished the now incarcerated driver’s delivery.
“It’s not like our police officers are running around delivering food, but this an example of them going above and beyond,” a spokesperson for the Sioux Falls Police Department said. “The driver was in the process of delivering food for DoorDash. Officer Buhr completed the delivery, bringing the food to the customer. While delivering food is not a normal part of police work, helping people is.”
Initial false reports claimed Officer Buhr was moonlighting as a food delivery driver.
“We’re actively looking into this to take all appropriate actions and are grateful to the law enforcement officer for stepping in and ensuring this customer received their order,” Door Dash said in a statement.
The delivery was caught on the customer’s Ring doorbell camera.
“I know I’m not who you were expecting, but your driver got arrested for some things he didn’t take care of,” the officer told the woman waiting for her delivery. “So I figured I’d complete the DoorDash for you.”
Food delivery guy had a warrant so…
New Castle, DE- After not being able to raise her car enough using a jack, New Castle, Delaware police officers lifted a car off a woman who had become stuck underneath it. It’s another example of police officers going above and beyond to keep their communities safe and to rescue their residents from out of harm’s way.
This incident happened Wednesday after an elderly woman forgot to put her car in park and she became entrapped underneath it, unable to free herself.
WINNIPEG, CANADA – Residents of Winnipeg, Canada, made the best of the below-freezing temperatures by creating an ice hockey rink on their street. The homemade rink spans multiple backyards and has an interesting feature you don’t see in many ice rinks in North America, a large tree growing right across the blue line from the neutral zone.
Another thing you won’t see at a Winnipeg Jets game is a slide for players to get on the ice quickly, featured in this homemade masterpiece. The rink is made with a wooden frame and even has markings under the ice.
MIAMI, FL – New York City Congresswoman Sandy Cortez (aka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez) was spotted Sunday enjoying her vacation to ‘Free Florida’. This time, she was spotted in a Miami drag queen bar, unmasked and having an absolutely fantastic time while her home city of New York is locked down and experiencing record-breaking COVID-19 cases.
Cortez, known for her fear-mongering about the policies of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had no problems enjoying her time in Florida without overreaching COVID-19 mandates.
“I’m posting this because you’re a lying hypocrite and NOT because I want to sleep with you,” said Brandon Leslie who shared the video on Twitter. “Exposed. AOC is STILL lounging it up in Florida, in large crowds and maskless. This time at a Drag Queen bar in Miami.”
After being criticized for posting the video, Brandon Leslie responded, “For those of you with zero sense of humor: the whole point of this post is to expose hypocrisy. We don’t actually care she’s maskless. We care she fear mongers about Florida but then has the audacity to vacation here.”
Today, Governor Ron DeSantis slammed Cortez for claiming he was on a vacation and missing in action, while he was also in Miami, with his wife as she underwent chemotherapy for her breast cancer.
AOC took a break from Congress in December, citing concerns over the growing COVID-19 pandemic and did not show up in D.C. before heading to Florida for her winter vacation.
NEW YORK, NY – You might want to pay attention to where you’re driving in New York City, because one thing is sure, the NYPD tow trucks don’t care about you, your car or your problem. This car somehow got stuck on a safety bollard, but that was the least of the driver’s problems.
It’s clear that a degree in physics isn’t required to be an NYPD tow truck driver, because after latching a chain to the top of the car to pull it from the bollard, the NYPD tow rolled the car of the safety device. In all probability that was probably the easiest way to free the car from the bollard without ripping the entire underside out.
We’re pretty sure the initial damage and the damage caused by the tow truck aren’t going to just buff right out.
As progressive liberal Arizona State University continue their quest to remove an exonerated Kyle Rittenhouse from the school register, they were visibly upset by a counter-protest of Rittenhouse supporters chanting “Let’s go Brandon”.
The ASU students have erroneously alleged that Rittenhouse was a white supremacist murderer, even after he was acquitted by a jury on all charges.
