Charles County Sheriff Seeks Help to Identify Suspects in Waldorf Stabbing

WALDORF, MD—The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is requesting public assistance to identify suspects involved in a stabbing incident that occurred in Waldorf on the night of June 30.

New surveillance footage showing vehicles believed to be involved in the incident was released by authorities this Saturday. The stabbing occurred when a food delivery driver, stopped at a red light on St. Patrick’s Drive at Crain Highway, was approached by two vehicles that positioned themselves on either side of his car.

An altercation ensued after the occupants of the vehicles exited their cars, leading to the driver being stabbed. Despite his injuries, the driver managed to return to his car and drive home, where a family member contacted the police.

Upon arrival at the driver’s home, officers found him suffering from multiple stab wounds. The sheriff’s office is now urging anyone with information related to the incident or the newly released surveillance images to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
