Chicago Man Charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery Against Woman

CHICAGO, IL – Mark Williams, a 28-year-old man from the 7500 block of S. Calumet Ave in Chicago, has been charged with one felony count of aggravated domestic battery and one felony count of attempted first-degree murder.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on April 21, 2023, at approximately 6:08 p.m. in the 900 block of E 104th St. According to the Chicago Police Department, Williams allegedly stabbed a 23-year-old female victim, causing serious injuries.

Officers who responded to the scene arrested Williams shortly after the incident. He was subsequently charged and is scheduled to appear at Central Bond Court, located at 2600 S. California, on April 24, 2023.
