Ohio woman charged with murder after man shot dead in domestic dispute
Columbus, OH – A 20-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a man was fatally shot during a domestic incident last month on the city’s east side, police confirmed.
On November 21, around 6:55 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 30 block of N. Hampton Road. When they arrived, they found 42-year-old Keith Morgan suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at 7:56 p.m. despite life-saving efforts.
Detectives quickly launched an investigation, which revealed a domestic relationship between Morgan and the alleged shooter as a possible motive.
Two weeks later, on December 4, Miyaira Tyler, 20, was officially charged with murder. She turned herself in to authorities without incident.
