Two shot in Northwest DC, arrive at hospital as police search for suspects

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A man and a woman were found with gunshot wounds early Saturday morning after arriving at a local hospital, prompting a police investigation into a possible shooting in Northwest.

At approximately 6:45 a.m., officers responded to the hospital after being notified of the two walk-in patients. Both individuals were reported to be conscious and breathing at the time of police arrival.

Preliminary information suggests the shooting may have occurred in the 900 block of T Street NW, though the exact circumstances remain under investigation.

Suspects sought in early morning shooting

Investigators are actively searching for two individuals believed to be connected to the shooting. The suspects were described as armed with handguns and wearing ski masks. They were last seen fleeing in a silver Mercedes.

As of Saturday morning, no arrests had been made, and police have not confirmed a motive or whether the victims knew the suspects.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact the Metropolitan Police Department.
