MARLBORO, NJ – Detectives with the Marlboro police department and the Monmouth County prosecutor’s office have determined that a man and woman found dead in a house in the township is being investigated now as a murder-suicide.
“A husband and wife who were found deceased in their Marlboro home earlier this week appear to have died as a result of a murder-suicide,” Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced Thursday.
At approximately 2:24 p.m. on Tuesday, September 6, members of the Marlboro Township Police Department responded to a residence on Albermarle Drive after receiving a request for a welfare check. Upon arrival, responding officers found the victim, Priscilla Badua, 68, and her husband, Felino Badua, Jr., 66, both deceased.
“An autopsy conducted by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that the manner of death for the pair were homicide and suicide, respectively,” Linksey said.
