Detectives renew call for tips in fatal shooting of 16-year-old in Towson

TOWSON, MD – Baltimore County homicide detectives are appealing to the public for information in connection with the killing of 16-year-old Charles Anderson, who was fatally shot last April in the 4000 block of Alan Drive.

Officers responded to the scene around 2 p.m. on April 13, 2025, where Anderson was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The teen was pronounced dead shortly after. The shooting occurred in broad daylight, and investigators believe there may be witnesses who have not yet come forward.

Detectives are urging anyone with details about the case to contact the department at 410-887-4636. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-756-2587 or online, with a potential cash reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Tips can also be shared through the Baltimore County Police Department’s iWATCH program.
