NEW YORK, NY – Police in New York City are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who is suspected of aggravated harassment and menacing. According to authorities, the incident occurred within the 63 Precinct on Wednesday, April 12, at around 10:10 pm.

The NYPD reported that the suspect approached a 26-year-old self-described non-binary victim at the intersection of East 36 Street and Flatlands Avenue and engaged them in a verbal dispute before flicking a cigarette at them.

The suspect fled the scene but returned shortly afterward, made anti-LGBTQIA+ remarks, and chased the victim while brandishing a wooden broomstick.

The victim was unharmed in the incident. The suspect is described as a slim-built male with a light complexion, approximately 5’7″ to 5’8″ tall, wearing a black jacket, black pants, and brown boots.
