TOMS RIVER, NJ – The heart of downtown Toms River will glow this Friday as residents gather for the community’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration.
The event runs from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at 33 Washington Street, transforming the downtown area into a festive hub of light and music.
Toms River Mayor Dan Rodrick is inviting the entire community to help ring in the holiday season this coming Friday.

Hosted by Downtown Toms River, the evening will feature live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and a much-anticipated visit from Santa himself.

Several civic and cultural organizations—such as the Ocean County Cultural & Heritage Commission, Discover Jersey Arts, and the Toms River Business Development & Tourism office—also play key roles in supporting the celebration.
