STAFFORD, VA — The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office reported a drug-related incident involving two individuals at the Fredericksburg Orthopedics facility. The incident occurred early in the morning on June 4, 2024, at approximately 12:22 a.m., located at 90 Greenspring Drive.

Deputy X.D. Bates, while patrolling the area, noticed two people inside a vehicle at an hour unlikely for orthopedic consultations.

Upon interacting with the individuals, Bates observed what appeared to be controlled substances in plain view. Initially, the suspects claimed the white powder was carpet cleaner, but they later acknowledged its illegal nature when pressed.

Both individuals were subsequently charged with possession of controlled substances. They were released by the magistrate on personal recognizance.
