BOSTON, MA – Officers from the Drug Control Unit of Districts C-11 (Dorchester) and B-2 (Roxbury) arrested Jahkari Battle, a 26-year-old resident of Dorchester, on Thursday, at about 3:21 PM. The arrest was part of an ongoing drug investigation and execution of search warrants at 11 Whitby Terrace.
Officers discovered a ghost gun with eight rounds in the magazine, a weapon-mounted laser/flashlight, and approximately six ounces of marijuana during their search.
Battle has been charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D, Distribution of Class D, and Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
