Early Morning House Fire in Gloucester Township Displaces Family, No Injuries

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – An early morning fire on Saturday, November 11, 2023, has displaced a family residing in the 1200 block of Clement Place in the Somerdale section of Gloucester Township.

The Gloucester Township Police Department responded to the fire report at approximately 4:13 AM. Officers arriving at the scene encountered smoke and flames emanating from the residence. Fire departments from Gloucester Township and neighboring towns, along with Inspira BLS, worked collaboratively to control the blaze.

Two residents were in the home at the time of the fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported, but the family has been displaced due to fire and smoke damage.

Authorities, including the Camden County Fire Marshal, Chews Landing Fire Department Fire Marshal, and the Gloucester Township Police Department, are investigating the incident. The fire is currently not deemed suspicious.
