Elderly man hospitalized after being struck by car on Armory Drive in Utica

UTICA, NY – An elderly man is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle Friday night near the Parkway in Utica, according to police.

Emergency crews were called to Armory Drive around 8:50 p.m., where they found the victim suffering from significant injuries.

He was taken to Wynn Hospital, where officials said he remains in serious but stable condition.

The driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators, authorities said.
