Four people found dead, murdered inside a New York City apartment building

BRONX, NY – Four people were discovered dead inside a Bronx apartment Wednesday morning, prompting a large police investigation as detectives work to determine what led to the grisly scene.

Officers arrived at 2225 Lacombe Avenue just before 9:45 a.m. after a 911 call reported an unconscious person inside the building.

When police entered the residence, they found four people—three adults and one unidentified male—unconscious and unresponsive, all with visible trauma to their bodies.

Detectives from the NYPD’s homicide squad and crime scene unit are working alongside the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which will determine the exact cause and manner of death for each victim.
