BRONX, NY – Gunfire rang out in the Bronx neighborhood of Wakefield on Tuesday when at approximately 10:53 PM. Police responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot in front of 4531 Hill Avenue, within the confines of the 47 Precinct.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 32-year-old male with gunshot wounds to the head and shoulder. The victim, identified as Aboubacar Drame, was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation into the fatal shooting is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.
