District Heights woman wins $50,499 FAST PLAY jackpot during lunch break

District Heights, MD – A Prince George’s County resident became the first progressive jackpot winner in the new FAST PLAY Cash Combination game after purchasing a $5 ticket that paid out $50,499.

The player, who chose to remain anonymous under the nickname “Suga F,” bought the winning ticket on September 8 while on her lunch break at J B Liquors, located at 5842 Silver Hill Road in District Heights. She claimed the prize September 11 at Maryland Lottery headquarters in Baltimore.

FAST PLAY progressive jackpot games increase in value with every ticket sold until a top prize is won. The Cash Combination game, which launched in August, begins with a $30,000 jackpot. With this win, 14 top prizes remain.

J B Liquors will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials said the winner intends to use the prize money for home improvements and a Thanksgiving trip.
