Peyton Wejnert scored 49 points and grabbed 16 rebounds Tuesday to lead the Southern Regional High School boys basketball team to a 71-70 win over host Toms River East.

Wejnert scored 21 points from the free-throw line, including two in the final minute of play to give the Rams the win.

Phil Lingat scored 26 points for the Raiders and Ryan West added 19.
