HS WRESTLING: Raritan Dominates Jackson Liberty 61-6

The seventh-seeded Raritan High School wrestling team earned four pins and a major decision Thursday on its way to a 61-6 win over 10th-seeded Jackson Liberty in the pre-quarterfinal round of the Shore Conference Tournament at Howell High School.

Aaron Erven, Anthony Aquilano, Adam Bryant and Joseph Stabile had pins for the Rockets and Russell Benson won a 12-3 major decision over Eric Heitmann at 132 pounds. Raritan also won four forfeits and three decisions.

Marc Palmieri won a 5-0 decision over Vito Aleo at 152 pounds and Nicholas Pellegrino won a 7-3 decision over Robert Taddeo at 113 pounds for the Lions.
