Authorities have not released further details about the incident leading to Mazhidov’s arrest. ICE has emphasized that cases involving criminal charges and immigration violations are handled on a case-by-case basis, with decisions made in accordance with federal law.

The Philadelphia Field Office continues to coordinate with local and federal agencies in enforcing immigration laws, particularly against individuals charged with crimes. It remains unclear when a final decision will be made regarding Mazhidov’s immigration status.
