JACKSON, N.J. – Residents of Jackson Township will soon have new opportunities to speak directly with Mayor Jennifer L. Kuhn under a community initiative aimed at improving transparency and accessibility in local government.

The Mayor’s Office announced the launch of “Meet the Mayor” sessions, offering residents scheduled office hours and public events to raise questions, share ideas, and discuss township issues.

Under Jackson’s Faulkner Act “Mayor-Council” form of government, the Mayor serves as the township’s chief executive officer, managing daily operations and implementing policies set by the Council. The new sessions, officials said, are part of a broader effort to make municipal leadership more approachable.

Residents will be able to attend regular office hours at Town Hall or schedule one-on-one meetings with the Mayor to address specific concerns. The initiative also includes informal “Meet the Mayor” events at public locations throughout the township, where residents can engage in open discussions about local issues and ongoing projects.

Mayor Kuhn’s tentative office hours at Town Hall are as follows:

Mondays: 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Tuesdays: 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Second & Fourth Tuesdays: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Fridays: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
