hearing during a Regular meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Jackson held on
October 28, 2025, at Jackson Township Municipal Building, located at 95 W Veterans Highway,

AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 41-2025 NOTICE OF FINAL PASSAGE AND SUMMARY
The amending ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been
finally adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of
New Jersey, on October 28, 2025. Copies of the full ordinance are available at no cost and during
regular business hours, at the Office of the Township Clerk for members of the general public who

The bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, has been finally
adopted by Township Council of the Township of Jackson, in the County of Ocean, State of New
Jersey on October 28, 2025 and the twenty (20) day period of limitation within which a suit, action
or proceeding questioning the validity of such ordinance can be commenced, as provided in the
Local Bond Law, has begun to run from the date of the first publication of this statement. Copies

ORDINANCE 2025-43
AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE
OF NEW JERSEY, AMENDING ORDINANCE 02-2025 ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE
ESTABLISHING THE SALARY RANGE FOR ALL OF THE VARIOUS OFFICIALS
AND EMPLOYEES OF THE TOWNSHIP FOR THE YEAR 2025 AND THEREAFTER”
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, STATE OF NEW JERSEY, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
Ordinance No. 02-2025 is hereby amended to include the following title and salary range within
Schedule A:

SECTION 2.
All other sections and provisions of Ordinance 02-2025 not amended herein shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 3.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
such inconsistency.
SECTION 4.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon final passage and publication as required by
law.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the foregoing ordinance was introduced and passed on first
reading at a meeting of the Township Council of the Township of Jackson held on the 28th day of
October 28 2025, and will be considered for second reading and final passage at a regular
meeting of the Township Council to be held on the 13th day of November 2025, at 6:30 p.m., at
the Jackson Township Municipal Building, 95 West Veterans Highway, Jackson, New Jersey, at
which time and place any persons desiring to be heard upon the same will be given the
opportunity to be so heard.

ORDINANCE NO. 2025-35
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 244 (LAND USE AND
DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS) OF THE CODE OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
JACKSON, COUNTY OF OCEAN, AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Township Council of the
Township of Jackson, County of Ocean, State of New Jersey as follows:
SECTION 1. Chapter 244 entitled “Land Use and Development Regulations” of
the Township of Jackson, is hereby amended and supplemented so as to amend §244-63.4
entitled “AH-IV Affordable Housing Overlay Zone” so as to amend subsection (2)(f)
entitled “Affordable Housing Requirements” so as to amend subsection (1) in its entirety so
that it shall read as follows:
(1) At least 20% of the units shall be set-aside as low- and moderate-income units.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase or portion of this
ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent
jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent provision,
and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect after second reading and publication
as required by law.
